This is a very nice and challenging course. Excellent greens! And the hotel is nice, although the food menu is simple. Better food at the golf club next door!

We've just started playing golf. While waiting for my underage son's second set of clubs to arrive, we decided to go out on the course with only one set, unaware that we were violating one of the basic principles of golf: EACH PLAYER MUST HAVE THEIR OWN SET OF CLUBS. Midway through our round, a club employee appeared to reprimand us for this egregious offense and kick us off the course. I think it's important to be a little more tolerant of beginners and practice kindness towards others. A harsh lesson for us, on a sunny Saturday morning, that ruined our weekend.

Admittedly, off-course areas are in need of renovation, and unfortunately, some tees have been replaced with matting, but otherwise there's not much to complain about. The bunkers were filled with plenty of white sand at the beginning of April and play well. The greens are fast and rolling, some holes have an adventurous design in a positive sense. All par 3 holes are approached from raised tee boxes. I would recommend a cart to anyone. A fun members' course.

After reading several critical reviews about the course, we can draw an overall positive conclusion: you should play it if you get the chance. The reception was very professional and we found what we were looking for in the pro shop. Due to heavy rain in the last few days, none of the bunkers were playable. The water was up to 1/2 m deep in them. Despite this, we were charged the full green fee. We were disappointed.
We really liked the course. The layout is amazing. Several tees were raised and you play more often from top to bottom than the other way around. Jose, a club member, played with us and saved us from making a number of mistakes. A different challenge awaited us on almost every hole. The condition of the greens could have been better. The yellow tee boxes were partly sandy and muddy. The red tee boxes were top notch. The greens had many inexplicable holes, but were otherwise easy to play.
We had decided to walk the course. However, we changed our minds after 9 holes and rented a cart. The course is very hilly and much more strenuous to walk than Llavaneras or the Stadium Course at the Camiral Resort. The paths between the holes are also a challenge for me. Some of the concrete roads are in need of repair.
We would play the course again anytime.
