It is an old golf course - club founded in 1948 - built by Jack Daray, not a big number as a course architect in terms of the number of courses he has built. He built the Courses of the Admiral Backer Military Golf Club in San Diego, and these are among the toughest.
This course is close to the IS 15 which is very busy. Only a few holes the noise of the vehicles can be heard. The Course course leads away from the street.
It is comparatively a simple golf course, almost all the holes are straight and they are rather short. Four par 4 have just over 400 yards - not a single dogleg - in addition, surprisingly little bunker.
California has been fighting for years with a lack of water, especially from above. This can be seen and felt as a golfer, even though there was more rain this winter.
It is a well-maintained area and it was fun to play here.
