Worth a visit

The golf course is now parkland and worth a visit, particularly dog friendly with training areas. I played the course years ago and it’s lovely to see so many people out and about enjoying it as it is now.

Its sad that it closed a few years ago, in its day there were 3 causes with the best being the parkland course then there were 18 holes on the Riverside and a very good 9 hole par 3 course plus driving range but its all now closed
