Suprisingly nice one

Another visit in Costa del Golf this time we played 2 courses, this one was the 1st.
Arriving shortly before lunch we grab coffee in restaurant without going to driving. Driving is anyway right there next to parking if anyone wanted. Restaurant was nice, and can recommend terrace with nice view, but have to practice few puts. Greens were bit slower than is standard for this area but nothing bad.
We started round, I started very poorly, but it was my fault, not course. Anyway I like the design and layout, its up and down with many interesting shots, short par 4s where you can try to attack greens with funny par 3's as well. If I have to choose some signature hole for me, would be probably some on back nine, front nine is much easier. I would say 16th is my kind of cup of coffee. Anyway it was pretty good round, course was in great shape, definitely worth of visit. And as bonus they had the best pro-shop I have ever seen, with many discounts. Will come back for sure.

Great Value Golf

We have played this course a number of times over the past few weeks paying anything between 62 and 99 euros for two with a buggy. The course has been in great condition and is a fair challenge to golfers of any level. I can definitely recommend as one to include if you are over on the Costa del Sol for a golfing break. In the hills above the coast with some fantastic views - but only a few minutes from the motorway exit.

High and spectacular above the highway

Played on September 3,2025: The 18-hole course (par 72) with driving range is located about 20 km west of the center of Marbella, somewhat inland, but is well signposted. A navigation system is also helpful for finding the course. You drive through several new developments and construction sites to the clubhouse. Parking is available in the club's small parking garage. The construction sites are clearly visible and audible in places. The AP7 motorway is even more clearly audible and audible. Arriving at the modern clubhouse with a restaurant (not in use, but apparently serving a popular breakfast buffet), you can shop in Europe's largest pro shop, which is spread over two floors. And yes, the pro shop is really very large and feels like a department store. In the upper part of the pro shop, you register for your round with the friendly staff. The standard green fee, like almost everywhere on the Costa del Golf, varies according to the season and ranges from €75 to €115. A cart (with GPS) is mandatory and included in the price. From 3 p.m., there is a reasonable sundowner rate of €45 to €60. It's best to book your tee time online via the website or Golfinspain. com. There are additional discounts, but you have to pay immediately. We had booked a tee time after 3 p.m., but arrived earlier and were able to start about an hour earlier thanks to the friendly starter. In the afternoon, play is more relaxed, although there were quite a few flights out and about. Tee times start every 10 minutes. The course's elevation changes alone offer sufficient challenges. There are many elevated tees that are quite interesting and challenging, from which you first have to tee off over water or vegetation. The highest point on the course is tee 18 (photo point). There are also doglegs and well-placed bunkers. Most tees are relatively open. The handicap limit is sensible, and players with a higher handicaps should opt for the front tees. The course was impeccable, and the greens were slightly aerated during our game, but still playable. Overall, we can recommend it, especially if you ignore the construction sites and the motorway.
