A tricky course that steals your balls

This 9-hole course is located along an alpine slope: most fairways are sloped. Not easy to play! The course architect has produced an exciting course on the limited size of land. The fairways are close together.
You must hit your tee shots straight. Otherwise you will quckly loose your balls in the woods or in the high grass.
The course was in excellent condition in 8-2012.
The restaurant closes early in the afternoon so you will have to deposit your dues in an envelope at the little old clubhouse. Quite romantic!
No electric golf cars allowed so you will have to use a chariot or carry your clubs.
A tip: 2 min away is the spectacular Hotel Villa Honegg with its unique views. Stay there. It is pricey but worth it. We had the stay of a lifetime.
We will certainly return to the combination Hotel Villa Honegg & Golf Bürgenstock.

Very well maintained 9-hole course with a fantastic view and an idyllic clubhouse. Club office was absolutely friendly and competent. The Italian chef spoiled us with delicious dishes on the terrace. We'd love to come back!

Yesterday we played the course again for the first time in 10 years.

It's going up and down a lot, but the course is quite short.

We played the pitch yesterday at top weather. The climb to the clubhouse suggested a place to go. Sure, the fairways are somewhat hilly, but without problems. The greens are heavily ondulated and somewhat slow. My wife was also thrilled that there were no bunkers! Nobody was also that no start time were necessary and free play could be.
