Golf course interesting, but greens unplayable
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 19, 2010
The layout of this course is interesting and occasionally challenging, particularly when the water comes into play. The fairways and bunkers are well-maintained, and the rough is manageable. The greens, however, are another story. On the few occasions I've played this course, I found the greens literally unplayable. Apparently the greenskeeper doesn't know that greens have to be rolled after they are punched and sanded, and have to be mown to the proper length. These greens are like putting on a shag carpet covering a million ant hills. They must be minus 2 on the stimp meter. I have never seen any municipal (let alone private) golf course in the United States or UK with greens this bad, and I have been playing for over 50 years. For the prices charged to play this track, this is outrageous.

Demanding parkland course near Frankfurt / Main
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 28, 2021
We played the course at the end of September 2021. The system was in good condition. Aerated greens. Should - according to members - be very good.
Rather narrow fairways; Drives shouldn't spread too much. Otherwise you will find yourself under one or more of the many trees. Rough is almost non-existent here. There is plenty of water, bunkers, exclusions and the aforementioned trees, which are often in the line of play.
For guests, the directions to the next tea are unfortunately usually quite small and hidden. In contrast, the tee boards, which contain the most important distances, are exemplary.
The layout is certainly a matter of taste. UE rather average parkland course on a formerly agricultural area. No notable height differences.
With a GF of EUR 70.00 WT at the upper limit.

Water, water, and some water
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 5, 2011
It is wise enough to take Baelle with the round. On almost all cars water comes into play. The place is also due to its length a real challenge, but makes a lot of fun. not really suitable for high HC. The place was very well maintained condition, despite the ongoing heat in shot and top. Too bad that guests without r \ vs should have to pay a surcharge on the green fee. 75, - € per week are about 15, - € too much. Since we considered whether to come back more often. The clubhouse has a little bland.
