Ayla Golf Club is Jordans first all grass championship golf course. Designed by Greg Norman the 18 hole championship course measures 7,152 yards with five teeing grounds per hole whilst the fully flood lit par 3 Academy course measures 1,185 yards with two teeing grounds per hole.

Golf Cruising in Jordan

We are on a cruise ship en route to Dubai, we have cruised for many years and this is our first experience of golf in Jordan. Ayla is only 3 years old. We can recommend this course, it is quite close to the port of Aqaba, only 20 mins away, it is a Greg Norman desert resort course, which has constant wind, which is its defence. There are 5tees to choose from which will suit all golfers. The Pro is an English guy who was very welcoming and helpful. The staff were great. There is no humidity so it is a comfortable round even in the heat. Transfers are about $10-$15 max, green fee is $100 each, which includes cart, practice balls and all facilities. We enjoyed it and we are coming back in April.

I played this course in April 2019. So this system with all the trimmings. You travel by yacht or boat from the Red Sea through the lagoon to the mooring of the Hyatt Regency Hotel, the hotel is brand new.
Top room on Toppniveu with everything your heart desires, on the other side of the hotel you can take the golf e-cart directly to the clubhouse and on to the golf course. The golf course is 1 dream course, super well-kept, beautiful fairways, fast greens, and many bunkers, correctly said, there are some green strips in the desert, will be there again for a few days in April 2022

We were with my ship 5 in Aqaba. The golf course we reached by taxi after 20 minutes. The place is very well maintained, it is a great service and there were very good rental clubs.
We played 18 holes and were thrilled. The fairway was very fast and the greens super fast. Everything was well prepared. The e-cars are equipped with sat nav. Very demanding tracks with very deep bunkers and some water hazards. Every golfer must expect plenty of wind here.
During the break we had lunch in the small air-conditioned restaurant. Also plenty of outdoor seats were available.
