Characteristics
As his first golf course design project, Scottish designer and former European Tour player, Niall Cameron, had the vision to create a desert-style golf course that would look and feel as natural and as integrated into the existing landscape as possible, while maximizing the beautiful views of North Africa’s Atlas Mountains to the south.

Desert Style course, no water hazards, lots of waste areas with lots of stones, careful to damage your clubs. Greens, fairways and bunkers much better than in Royal Palm, suppose second best course in Marrakesch.
GF 95 Euro with manual trolley, not very good price value, but we wanted to play the best course in Africa. Not sure about it, seen nice courses in South Africa and played during this time other courses in Morrocco more interesting like Mogador in Essaouira or Mazagan in El Jadida.
Meals were quite good but expensive.
Overall rating positive.

We had the oppertunity to play Assoufid.
Although course will be official open from september 2011 this was already in very good condition and the best lay-out in Marrakech.

Played in March 2026. It had rained more in Marrakech in recent weeks than it had in years, so everything was very green and there was even some water on the course at times. Nevertheless, the greens were in top condition, the fairways very good. The clubhouse was fantastic, with a great terrace. The caddies were superb. I'd gladly play again.
