Two good 9s, one very disappointing
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 4, 2016
Have wanted to play this course for some time and tacked it on at the end of a tour in the mountains around Bolzano. We could not fault the welcome or the accomodation (La Forestia) and indeed the food, where we had an excellent dinner, tutto solo. In the evening we played the Green course off the back tees which was tough, water everywhere and you need to be long and straight but it was in great condition. Next day there was a big competition, so we played Red which was also excellent, and then Yellow, which was hugely disappointing not only in layout but in condition. The bunkers looked liked they hadnt been touched for months and were unplayable. Shame really as it is good value for money.

Hello... thank you very much for your positive comments.
Unfortunately we could not work on the yellow course for the heavy abnormal thunderstorms in the last weeks, especially the last 20 Days of May, we never had so much rain in few weeks since the opening in 1997:
Some days it was even impossible to go out with the whacker without sinking in the mug after few meters: so we decided to focus on 2 courses in this period.
I apologize for the bad conditions on the yellow course but I hope to see you soon on our golf course again... in dry conditions.

Corso verde

The condition of the course in September was perfect. In other words, the corso verde was really green. The secretariat was super friendly and gave us the best advice despite our lack of knowledge of Italian. Nice group. We would be happy to come back

Autumn golf in Veneto

Played red and yellow.
Nice hilly area with lots of water. Unfortunately, the condition of the place was very, very wet in autumn, but the greens were very okay.
Driving range is appealing. Caddy master makes an effort and speaks German. We will come next time in late spring or summer.

Three 9-hole courses! Yellow, green and red - where we found the green course the best. Nice round of golf okay!

Absolutely OK

Overall, an appealing layout, varied 3x9 holes, difficult rough. Unfortunately due to rain miserable bunker with strong tears and often criticized here tw. lousy tea boxes. Pleasant: no start times, quiet game flow. Regrettable: Locking up any restoration on such a remote golf course on Tuesday is an impertinence. For super friendly secretariat.

Scenic beautiful, varied tricky tracks
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 29, 2019
We played all three loops on two days;
Reception Super friendly and helpful; Leisure break without problems including a token for the driving range;
Lanes often with interesting layout; much water; Unfortunately, due to the rain of the previous days, the fairways were soaked (no one can do anything about that) and probably the mowing necessary --- but unfortunately was not due to the rain. Unusual and conspicuous the low quality of tea boxes; greens already in April in excellent condition.
The detour is worthwhile. mM after a place that man also likes to play several times.

Disappointment!
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 15, 2018
Clubhouse in a class of its own with an excellent restaurant and very attentive staff.
The design of the 27 holes in a beautiful landscape is very successful.
The greens are ok.
But: The condition of the driving range, the tees and the fairways is catastrophic.
As there is enough water on the course, even the hot summer is no excuse.
All in all: unfortunately no recommendation!!

Dear Cristof,
Thank you very much for your review, i only want to inform you that since last year the Italian government decide to forbid any chemical products on Golf Courses, Soccer Fields and any other playground. Therefore every Greenkeeper in Italy must deal with the new law using only biological products. It's not only a matter of money, those products are 5 times more expensive than chemical products but the ground needs at least 2 years to assimilate those new products. Therefore i apologize for the average condition of the fairways and the tees but i can tell you, there are courses in Italy that lost completely greens and fairways in this Summer, we was very lucky that the course is playable.
Meanwhile the italian Governement change his mind after month of protest from the Greenkeeper Association and the italian golf federation and they allow us to use some (very few) products in the future. I am sure that the situation will be better in the next weeks and months and the grass will grow up juicy and green as the standard we all were used to.
I hope you will be our guest again in the future. Marco

Way too expensive. Received friendly, manager very naughty and anti-client.
Greens: a lot of damage.
Conclusion: Italian chaos.

Caution on Tuesday...
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 8, 2017
On the way from Asagio to Udine we wanted to play the square. But unfortunately it is on the TUESDAY rest day! Everything closed and no game possible! I have in this form still not experienced on any golfing world.
So place without play partially expired. Beautiful parklandcourse, very well maintained in all areas. Everything from the finest including clubhouse. No wonder either. Plant owner the fashion family Benneton.

Stunning scenery! Reception very end of January, start times are genomen not as accurate, no stress! The place is very undulated greens maintained precisely and well. Unfortunately, not all fairways, grass too high. Accuracy and not length is at the forefront. 3 x 9 hole offers plenty of variety. The restaurant is worth a visit even without golf. Excellent and refined cuisine. Would love weider!

Was the course (27Loch) playing on 26.09.2014.
Overall, is the kpl. Place very varied.
It will not be bored, transverse or lateral water runs all there.
Bushes and bunkers always there where they should not be!
Very fast greens. But the discounts, not mine but of which you start (refuse) should, to put it mildly, a disaster.
The accommodation at the nearby farmhouse, 1 km to the clubhouse, though much better than the exterior suggests this. But, is a single outlet for large appliances such as battery and a wonderful TV unfortunately only in Italian sounds. The menu at the club house there is also only in Italian, not even English.

Played course RED and YELLOW - red course is highly recommended - lots of water with recurring streams - very scenic - accurate play necessary! Greens, fairways and tees perfect. The path to the course YELLOW is a small hiking.
Yellow course we experienced maintained as less as the price of red. Is also easier to play!
Looking back, outweighs the positive impression of the system!

Asolo is a nice relatively flat parkland course. In yellow and green, the webs are indeed lined with bushes, trees and shrubs, but are extremely wide, so that they come not as good as the game! The narrower red Course we liked best! For golfers, however, the place is very interesting, but not too heavy! The ladies at the receptio. Operation with the German guests easily overwhelmed and clearly preferable due Club members in all areas. Generally not so very friendly club to visitors!
But my three star eie always refer only to the square. Nice but not a highlight!

27 great tracks
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 27, 2013
Have played the course in mid-August, all 27 tracks. Very good condition, interesting, fair tracks, great scenic views. Good food in the club house, very good and friendly service. The place is a little off but is worth a detour. At night in the club's guest house half green fee. Necessarily recommended.

Great 27-hole course
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 15, 2012
May 2012: A beautiful, very interesting course. Fairways and greens were in very good condition. Overall, good price / performance ratio! Since the price was the same as for 18 holes, we have all played the same 27! We had great fun! Overall rating: Recommended JC # 15.7

Is worth a try
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 1, 2011
End of July 2011 we were on the ground and have courses "Green" and "Yellow" played. Courses are beautifully landscaped, were well playable, but also to some extent tricky. Only the bunkers were an absolute disgrace! It had rained the day before and the bunkers were partially filled to the brim with water! And the entäuschendste to was that there was not even a discount for this significant limitation. The facility with club house and private pool is very modern, the staff at the front desk very friendly (they speak also German), but improvement in the clubhouse.
