Fantastic place to play a round of golf

We recently went to achill on a 3 day visit and played the golf Course. It was a pleasure meeting the local golfers. The staff were fantastic.
A special thanks to Michael English for the tips and the craic We will be returning again this year without a doubt.
Minimalistic golf in beautiful spot - priceworthy

Close to the Atlantic Ocean - in a beutiful landscape - no extravaganca on the course - just 9 flat holes with sheep maintaining the fairways. Greens in good conditions. White stones mark the fairway and greeens are easy to spot since they are fenced with blue and yellow sticks. Considering the greenfee of 15 euro it´s a priceworthy minimalistic and naturalistic golfexperience.

The secluded location makes an easy, scenic golf course hope. The reality is sobering. One populated with grazing sheep sheep meadow. Clubhouse ungeflegt and the character of a construction trailer. Haircuts unkempt littered with plastic bottles, fairways dotted with sheep excrement everywhere. Greens to protect (what?) Fenced with small apertures. Although situated on the edge of the Atlantic ocean view is obstructed. € 15 green fee is too much for the multiple use of human and sheep. As a long time visitor of many Irish golf courses in the worst place so far.
