Playing the course

As 9 hole person graduating to 18 holes, (max handicap, lady) I found the course extremely challenging. I inspected every bunker and believe me, I have never seen so many bunkers on a course. Not for the fainthearted and you have to be extremely accurate.
Downhill going out, not bad, all uphill coming back (when you are tired, well at least I was after inspecting all the bunkers) However, the course is stunning, very well kept and the staff very friendly and helpful.
A definite challenge...

A new, fresh and interesting arrival to the Costa Blanca golf circuit. Initially the thought of having to repeat holes to make up the 18 was a little less than inviting. However, once you look at the vista before you as you stand on the first tee, you can see the challenges ahead. Large, silver sand bunkers, but plenty of fairway as long as you hit your ball relatively straight. Water very much in play as I found to my cost, "oh for the invention of golf balls that float!" Some good challenging doglegs with opportunities for opening up and giving "full blooded" swings. For the brave amongst us even the opportunities to "cut the corners" although playing at my standard it is not something I fancy myself - go for a safe par - forget the amazing eagle. The staff at the VistaBella Golf Club I found to be most helpful and I found this course well worth the visit. It will be good to see the remaining 7 holes completed, making it even more of a golfing experience. Anyone fancy a round call me on Tel: 966 718 631 or email me barryjones1@talktalk. net.
BEAUTIFUL AREA

I VISITED VISTABELLA GOLF ON 6./12 /09, IT IS SET IN BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS AND ALTHOUGH IT IS VERY NEW IT LOOKS LIKE IT IS GOING TO BE ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR COURSES IN SPAIN. A TEMPORARY GOLF HOUSE IS IN PLACE AND PLANS ARE IN PLACE TO BUILD A MUCH MORE LAVISH ONE - WELL WORTH A VISIT EVEN NOW. I AM LOOKING TO BUY A PROPERTY NEARBY NOW AS AN INVESTMENT. I ONLY RATED IT 4 STARS BECAUSE SOME WORK STILL NEEDS TO BE FINISHED AROUND IT.
