Fantastically located place with direct hotel access

Beautifully designed course (only in Cuba) with fantastic views of the sea on both sides of the peninsula! The back-9 are much more difficult. Very well-kept fairways and greens, but the tees are bumpy and torn. You always have to have enough tips (typically in poor Cuba!), Then you can safely tee off at the booked time and does not have to be sorted into the queue. A relaxed atmosphere, friendly + warm staff, many nice (mostly Canadian) teammates. Price for Cuba clearly too high: about 100 € with rental bag + 1/2 buggy (duty because of the long ways). Have played 3x in February. Definitely recommended!

If you make a trip to Cuba, you can not get by Varradero if you are traveling to Varradero not in Cuba.
We had to have the happiness of our Cuba trip with a week end Varradero. There is the only golf course on the island. Golf players shall be chosen umbedingt one of the Melia Hotels. Service and price / performance ratio was ideal and you can book from 3 green fees at a special price. Considering that then the rental clubs are includiert (good material TaylorMade), there is a discount of 50% and for one of the most beautiful places in the Caribbean. Several fairways running parallel to the beach or directly to it, and the inland holes are riddled with (lagoons) water hazards, hills and elevation changes. Really interesting and varied (happy holiday). The Cubans are cheerful and friendly - you feel at home!!!

Not particularly difficult. Price is rather proud, paid about 70 euros. But there are hotels which have included playing golf. Balls are sold by the Greenskeepers-hardly a game where no one asks :-) but pleasant and not pushy and if you know what you can buy a good pair of balls deserve this :-)
For golf vacation only sure-but too little for a couple rounds on vacation it's all ok!
