Beautiful Surroundings, great course and lovely people

We played at Santa Clara towards the end of December and had a really nice day there. The golf course has everything: a course in great condition which is very interesting to play, some of the best views I've seen from a golf course with white mountains behind us (even though it was 17 degrees, the sun was out and a jumper wasn't needed), food in the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were really friendly

Great view, good place

We are easy to drive with the Womo on the way and parking. Friendly service, good to go with the trolley. The place description is available, a note next hole would perfect this. Interesting design, slow greens.
Restaurant friendly and hard-working, very good kitchen.
Pleasant special prices in this Covid season

Super greens - but the rest?

On our tour through Andalusia we stopped in Granada and were primarily disappointed by the typical Spanish "nonchalance".

Starting from the - no more? - existing driving range, it is a tee with a few racket-threatening mats. Putting green good, the pitch and putt course mentioned in the description cannot be seen either.

We finally found the person responsible for the reception over coffee in the restaurant - extremely unprofessional.

The online offer with buggy was unbeatable, the buggy itself was then a petrol slingshot with adrenaline-fueling misfires.

Last but not least the most important thing - the place:
Visually very sparse, only the Sierra Nevada offers beautiful views, fairways are already very dry and poorly overgrown in many places, some interesting holes in it, overall everything seems slightly degenerate, cuts on the sand rakes are inevitable. Only the greens are a real pleasure, fast, undulating and on track. If only the rest were almost in that state. Too bad - I have to advise against a visit!

There are better ones, there are worse ones

Golf course: The first 9 tracks are mostly on monotonous rows of houses, on the back nine it will be better - because more secluded - because you can enjoy the views of the Sierra Nevada more.

Course condition: greens and around this very good, otherwise mediocre.

Conclusion: is ok, but nothing special.

Playing sexy

A relatively new golf course, dashalb not too many tree-obstacles.
But it goes very fast up and down. good condition (end of May).
To play ball just is compulsory, otherwise you look scree-slope in the bushes or in gravel /.

A challenge

Have played in January by 42 EUR including menu, the place is challenging and varied, since I was practically alone in the place you should look closely especially during the first 9 holes where the next hole is, I'm lost here and the sequence then changed. After 9 holes I have strengthened myself with the menu including cerveza and then played the lezten holes, you have to walk a lot, for fußmarode Cart is a duty, dreamlike views of the Sierra Nevada, hasta la proxima

Very interesting place

We have played this course in early September and loved it.

Very well maintained tees, fairways and greens. A variety of green keepers who were traveling have confirmed that it is customary to place here. Moreover, the Greenkeeper have always immediately "cleared the field" and the engine shut off when the players arrived.

The tracks were very varied but fair play, plus a great view of the Sierra Nevada.

The service, in particular the application was great, very friendly and helpful, as were we to question where the first tee is, be led directly there from the caddy master. In the Gastronmie fast service with free tapas (very tasty).

The only drawback: No Yardage book and no real signs at the tee. Especially on the 2nd 3 and Then train the first time difficult, you do not recognize from the tee of the gorge and the deep moat. Signs to the next tee could be better.

We play in each case more often there.

Absolute recommendation, apart from the catering

First one is very friendly and welcomes also gets interesting and useful information on the place. In addition, there was a special price for 2 incl GF buggy.

The place is also during summer in an excellent condition, challenging and very varied. However, you should watch the overview map of each hole exactly, so you do not lose too many balls.

The 13th Hole is the most interesting, because you have to play in front of a large lake, only to reach the elevated green on the other side.

Minor flaws: the water on the way donors was very warm, some stairs are a little rotten and somewhat accident prone.

Furthermore, the service in the restaurant was very rude, there was only a Spanish menu and even the drink orders have lasted forever. Not recommended!

Interesting to play!

The place is very interesting to play, but not easy to walk in summer! ;-) Large part way to the next tee. I always run else, but here in the height and possibly heat... Scenic landscaping and things seem to be branch of the square on the decline. One has the impression that the money of real estate investors from around goes around. What a pity! Why only 3 stars. Nevertheless, from a sporting point of view a very beautiful place!
It is worth while, then drink a beer in the air conditioned club house! Tasty tapas come automatically and free of charge on the table! ) 8-)

Have fun and good game

The best that the region has to offer!

Santa Clara is by far the best place with the friendliest staff which is available in the region. We played last week. Very well maintained, very physically demanding, very nice members, excellent restaurants, etc. We were picked up in a very heavy rain shower caddy master and went into the dry clubhouse. That's what I call service!

Nice and tricky

The site is located in a development area for cottages and was en natural conditions of the hilly landscape adapted beautifully. The Sierra Nevada offers many paths of a beautiful background. Landscaped the place is really nice.
If you play Santa Clara Golf Granada the first time you experienced especially in the first four or five holes many "unpleasant" surprises. The paths are traversed by many natural canyons that attract magical balls. The many hanging fairways then do the rest. Unfortunately, most of these canyons are not visible from the tees and a Birdiebook it was unfortunately.
Relatively large number of paths are not fully visible, so that is beaten into the unknown here. The second time at this place I would play many different balls...
The second nine holes are a little "fair" but not simpler.

Fairways and tees were well maintained, fast greens were in very good condition.
As it goes up and down a lot at this place, I was very happy with my cart. It may be noted that gasoline carts brake bad on the smooth part ways and start to slip even at low speed on steep trails.

The service and the staff are very attentive and friendly.

Also recommended is the clubhouse with an excellent restaurant and a small bodega. After the round, you can here for only EUR 12, - enjoy a delicious 3-course meal and a good wine overlooking the snowy Sierra Nevada.

Overall a very nice golf course with many pitfalls.

Sporty, well maintained with beautiful panoramas

The still relatively young golf course is nestled in a newly developed building area for cottages on the edge of the Sierra Nevada.

For golfers, from the lowlands recommended to to go with the cart, the height differences are partly significant. Of some fairways and greens you have very nice views of the snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevada.

The fairways and greens are well maintained and the layout satisfies even the most demanding players.

Who likes to play in society in secreteriat should ask when playing the Golfnuts. This very nice group of mostly English immigrants like you can connect and thus saves on the round and the Cart 30 €.

Attention: Due to the height of about 800 meters above zero, it can be very chilly in the fall despite sun. You should have something for covering it. Tempereaturunterschiede to the coast can be more than 15 ° C.
