I used to play here a lot when I was a beginner and have been here a number of times over the past few years. Reachable from Berlin Xberg in 1 hour.
The practice facilities are okay, there is a pitching green next to the driving range, a chipping green with bunkers, right next to it is the Pay&Play 6-hole short course. In addition, a larger putting green behind the green of the 18 (or 9).
The 18-hole course is beautiful, leads right at the beginning between tall trees on the left and apple trees on the right and starts off quite relaxed with a par 5. The holes are quite open and flat and don't offer any nasty surprises. Water comes into play for the first time on holes 6 and 7 - hole 9 (par 3) then goes right over the pond. Lanes 10 and 11 are more demanding lanes, 10 gets narrower the longer the tee and lane 11 goes over the water 3 times and teaches me on the early days how to play strategically so as not to lose several balls and the keep score halfway together.
From the 12th you go to the back of the course, in front of green 14 there is water again, which then plays a role again on holes 17 and 18.
Overall, I find the course very fair today, all HCP classes find good conditions here. And the condition in August 2022 (where there is a lot of scorched earth elsewhere) was just TOP.
A very nice secretariat and a good gastro with a beautiful garden complete the quite successful offer.
And together with the 2for1 voucher, this is a real bargain that shouldn't be missed!

Played on 10/29/2021. So first of all the club has little to do with Potsdam, other clubs are even closer to Potsdam. The flat 18-hole course (cart not required) with an attached 6-hole short course is located approx. 30 km from Potsdam and approx. 40 km from Berlin's Kurfürstendamm. The place is in absolute peace and nature. There is only a Landstr. past. At lanes 13 and 14 you have a view of a green garbage dump, where the truck is still in operation, however, which is a bit annoying. The first 6 lanes are not that exciting yet. But from the 7 on it gets more interesting. From then on, water hazards come into play at almost every hole, where strategy is then required. A highlight is certainly track 11 where it goes over water several times, narrow landing zones, tall reeds and a dogleg that make the whole thing tricky. Knowing the place is not a mistake here. Bunkers don't play a big role on the square and the ones that are there are rather small and flat. The discounts are quite open and higher HC should be able to handle it. There is relatively little rough. In autumn, the leaves of the ingrown trees make it more difficult to find balls in the semi-rough. The greenkeepers try hard to remove the leaves. This is not a problem on lanes 2 to 6 as there are few tall trees there. Due to the season, the maintenance condition was completely okay. There was nothing wrong with the greens in particular. They were slightly raised here and there or a little undulating, but basically loyal and fast. One or the other tee a little worn. The game was quite busy on a sunny Friday morning. There is a driving range where tokens can be used to draw balls from the machine. I really enjoyed the round at the Potsdamer GC. If you don't expect the really big highlights or a noble meadow, you won't be wrong here.
