A unique parkland course across Edinburgh

From the first minute you feel welcome as a guest. That went on all day. All of the members we met were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and that was meant in earnest.
In the pro shop, which is also the reception, you get all the necessary information in a very friendly manner.
Green fee per player GBP 100 and, to anticipate it, the place is worth it.
Push trolley GBP 5, the rental trolleys are very good.
Electro trolley GBP 30, highly recommended, because the place is not only great, but also very hilly and strenuous to walk.
A buggy would cost £40 and also makes play easier.

There is no driving range that belongs to the course, but a putting and chipping area and 3 tee boxes with a net after 12 meters. But 5 minutes away there is a large commercial driving range where you only have to pay for the balls.

There was a nice tea gift for guests and then finally the place came:
18 lanes, almost each of which has its own characteristics. The fairways are pleasantly wide, but wavy and you should think before you just "bang on". The pace of play is Scottish, 3.5 hours max for the round so you'll have to hurry with photos, but give yourself time as some holes have great views of Edinburgh.
The fairways are well manicured, the greens are exceptionally good and lightning fast and superbly true. You have to think about how you want to allude to the flag. The bunkers are also in top condition.
The highlight then on the 18: deer cross the fairway and take the time to look at the golfers.
The service in the clubhouse was very friendly, the changing rooms were very clean and the drinks were good.
Definitely a recommendation. If we come back to Edinburgh we will definitely play it again.
