In Margara you can find 2 amazing 18 holes courses, a good restaurant with italian specialities, swimming pool and tennis. The accomodation in Villa is very nice, like a small luxury hotel. Very good experience

Situated in the middle of the beautiful Piedmont countryside, Margara Golf Club boasts two 18 holes courses enjoyable for players of every level while appreciating the region's typical panorama. The very welcoming staff coupled with the family-like atmosphere of the club made us feel at ease and very relaxed (although the few glasses of Prosecco that we had on the terrace while admiring the sunset also helped). We decided to spend a night there in the "Foresteria" in order to have dinner in one of the many good restaurants surrounding the club. We left the next day after a highly recommended golf lesson and another 18 holes.
Will definitely come back! Probably during the truffle season!

I played the Lolli Ghetti course in early July. Outside temperature around 35°. That was also the reason why I decided on a kart. Green fee 60 euros (fair), karting 45 euros (excessively expensive). It's certainly possible to walk, but it's definitely hilly and I didn't see anyone walking. I enjoyed the space layout. It was nice to pop up with the driver. The fairways already had some bare spots, but with the 2022 drought you can turn a blind eye. Bunker sand rather hard but playable. Greens good!
Yellow hoses from irrigation systems lay across the green in two places. Of course, this is absolutely not clear at lunchtime and I have never experienced it.
I basically had fun but the mosquitoes were nasty. If you don't have golf-ready beekeeper protection equipment with you, you should bring liters of repellent with you. I'm not exaggerating! Swarms flew up in the shade under the trees like I've never seen on a golf course. So it's better to always place it in the middle of the fairway and stay in the bright sunlight. With the golf cart I was able to escape from the vermin at least from time to time. The only ball I lost was one that I had to give up looking for under trees after 10 seconds because the attacks were getting too big. Incidentally, there was also a plague of locusts on the country road to the square. I haven't stayed at the resort here and I'd rather not know what the evenings on a terrace would be like.
