Characteristics
Laguna is a course on the coast with view on the nearby dunes and the sea. The eastern 9 holes were opened up in 1990 and mostly offer generous fairways and huge greens. In 1993 followed the south course with additional 9 holes, where true joy is raised. On almost the whole length they take course alongside a row of lakes and make the game scenically very attractive.

Nice surprise

Played early March 2020 this parkland course.
We are single handicaps and were very surpised about the quality of the course.
The greens could have been a bit faster but it was oK Price quality ratio is very good.

Because the building is used simultaneously for two golf courses (Millenium and Laguna), it is constantly at full capacity and is like a beehive.
Reception and gastronomy average.
The course is rather simple and has fewer water hazards than the name suggests.
Greens and fairways show signs of being fully occupied but are ok.
You can play it for the sake of completeness (similar to Millenium, which was played two years ago).

Four of us played the course at the beginning of 2024.
Our shared opinion: You really don't have to play it a second time.
Always straight ahead, sometimes a little water, hardly any challenges.
The greens were the slowest I have ever played in the Algarve and there were flat tufts of other types of grass in the green.
