Characteristics

Since 1978 the Golf Course "Auf der Lausward" has been known as Germany's first public golf course. Since the 1rst January 1997 the GSV Düsseldorf has managed the course on its own initiative. Here, "Auf der Lausward" a totally mixed public meets to play golf together. The social intercourse is uncomplicated and friendly. Almost directly in the centre of the city, on the Rheinwiesen, in front of the port, the view from the 8th hole on Düsseldorf's skyline is an optic highlight.
