Golf in Zeeland at the wild head

Played on 8/28/2020. The well-tended, flat 18-hole golf course is located in Holland at Axel near Terneuzen between the North Sea and the Belgian border. The facility consists mainly of parkland as most of the tracks are lined with tall, ingrown trees. But there are also a few water hazards that definitely come into play. You should play strategically because one or the other tee is tight. The tracks are basically varied, so that it never gets monotonous. The condition was excellent. Lush green, well-tended fairways and loyal and fast greens. The game on a Friday morning was brisk but fluid. A friendly Marshall drove around the square and asked me twice whether everything was OK. I had reserved a start time by email two days in advance. The email was answered very quickly. The green fee of € 55 Mon. to Thu. and € 60 from Fri. to Sun. is absolutely reasonable. The lady in the secretariat was very friendly and there is a small separate pro shop next door. A small driving range and practice facilities are also available. The members I met greeted friendly, but suddenly on the 10th tee there were players in front of me who weren't there before, but then let me through as a single player. If you are in the area, I can recommend a lap of the "Wilden Kopf".
