... that's what the club was originally called when we first stuck the teas here in 2000. Often we didn't play here, and missed the great view of Lake Constance and the Alps, which is actually a shame - especially in this imperial weather.
It is certainly not one of our favorites around Lake Constance, responsible for that are the numerous blind holes - blind drive landing zone and blind greens.
It is a good course in not entirely flat terrain, the crossovers are partly neat, they make for sportiness. It is easy to play in good conditions - six par 4s do not measure 350 meters - provided the ball is successfully placed. If not, if you have a difficult stroke into the green, then the par will be difficult. In addition, there is a lot of space, if a drive is not straight, it is a very spacious system. The very robust grass does not give a few free meters and it plays very hard - it was mowed a little too high today. The greens are good - not that difficult - were slow, dull today.
Care and maintenance good, meets expectations. It's great that the rough wasn't mowed yet, the contours of the holes are beautifully drawn. Disadvantage, the balls are gone when they land in them - have also deposited some.
During our excursion to Lake Constance we also played Erlen (Switzerland), a comparable system. There are worlds in between - these are convincing in a direct comparison.

We played the course in early September - after a long and hot summer in the region - and were really impressed by the condition of the course. The tees and fairways were top notch and the greens were super fast. The tracks are exciting and wonderfully embedded in nature. We had the great pleasure to have a dear club member at our side, who brought us closer to the place with all its beauties. The view at tee 11 over Lake Constance and the mountains is unique. I've played this course 30 times over the past ten years and I'm always impressed by the breathtaking panoramic view that you get from Tee 11 and Tee 14 on Lake Constance and the Alps. The course offers many challenges and long hitters are clearly in the advantage, but at the same time it is also fair in a precise game. At the holes 7 and 8 and especially 10 it goes neat uphill, here good conditions are in demand.
The food is good and Christian Klemm cooks at a level that you rarely find in a club house. However, sometimes you wait quite a long time until you are served and until the food comes. I've always found the service staff very courteous and professional over the years.
I have lived on Lake Constance for 20 years and know every golf course here in the region and have all played several times. For me the golf course Owingen / Überlingen is one of the most beautiful and recommended places and forms together with the golf courses Schloss Langenstein, Konstanz and Weißensberg the top quartet in the region!
