Interesting shape

For long time this course was on my bucket list, due the reason that its close to my home and that its part of Leadingcourses portfolio. Entering course you will see the history buildings. Right away from parking lot you are at practice areas and club house. All very close. Ther is quite a lot of space fro practice. Checking in pro shop is a bit difficult if you not speak German, but they try to help you. I appreciated a birdie card as gift and green fee on Monday is just correct price for the course. Course itself is located in small valley close to the forrest. All the holes are nicely shaped with lot of blind shots, where you might lose stroke if you do not know course so play really conservative in first time. There is a lot of opportunity to score, especially in summer, because the fairways were really dry and quite hard. Their condition was nothing special. Greens were good, they just aerificated them and put some sand on. Suprisingly course is a bit noisy, since the roads are nearby. Signature holes I would say are 10,11,12,13 obviously I prefer back nine over front nine. Weakest point would be for me that you cannot get anything to eat or drink on Monday, which is a bit dissapointing taking in account that I came some distance to play there.

Nice with good restaurant

Super place condition (fast greens, short fairways), interesting design. Only the bunkers were different, sometimes more sand sometimes less. Good food after the round in the restaurant!

Very nice golf course, but banal greens

The place presented itself in good condition. it is quite hilly/wavy, has side slopes from time to time and is nicely integrated into the landscape. it is varied and interesting to play. good lettering, bunker sand is OK, natural obstacles every now and then, easy to master on foot... pure nature!
Clearly in the upper 4* segment.

two important things are missing for a 5* top rating:
1. the greens are ALL flat, simply banal, ie far too easy to play. really a pity. if this great topography were combined with beautifully undulating greens - the course would (almost) have championship format.
2. almost - because many tracks are very wide and allow a lot of scattering. this would have to be narrowed down a bit with trees/bushes or similar.

Proshop great, comprehensive service, driving range available (2€), fair green fee.

restaurant: definitely worth a stop. good food, friendly service.
I would play the course again at any time.

Great Place

For the most part, you play back and forth across a valley, with water coming into play from time to time and going up and down. Condition is impeccable, clubhouse as well. Only the practice facilities seem a bit "squeezed into the corner".
The course is varied and interesting, also with beautiful views. However, I find that some tracks (2,14,15) somehow seem a bit "pieced together".

Great parkland course, nice members, highly recommended!!

We played our second round in Dresden in Possendorf. The club is more dignified, the entrance area even more beautiful, the clubhouse more elegant. Even the parking lot looks more elegant, but the reception was just as warm and happy as in Ullersdorf. The two clubs have belonged together since this year and the members can play the other course free of charge (?).
We started with a "local" - Winfried, who welcomed us warmly and even spoiled us with Prosecco or Aperol Spritz on the round. Thanks again for that, as well as for the wonderful round!
The place is beautiful, very varied, it's partly uphill and downhill, which increases the sporting effect. The course is shorter than that in Ullersdorf, but more challenging. We played in the most beautiful weather and enjoyed every lane. Water comes into play on some holes and the tee shot needs to be well dosed if the ball is to stay in play. Especially the 10 is fun, after a decent hit you still have >150m into the green, in front of a hungry pond. It's really fun, the place! The final hole goes (like the 9) directly to the clubhouse, the 18 still scores with an island green.
The restaurant, on the other hand, scores with good service, delicious food and a really beautifully situated terrace.
The sanitary facilities are also great!
The second round almost overshadowed the first, the course is just a bit more spectacular than Ullersdorf, but both have their appeal. A repeat is definitely planned here, too!

Very nice place south of Dresden

Very varied place. The fairways on the first 9 holes are relatively wide and straight, while the second 9 holes are more difficult to play. Narrower fairways in wooded surroundings, hilly and the two par 3 with 185m (hole 15) and 174m (hole 17) are a challenge for higher handicappers. Well-placed bunkers (hole 9.16) and water hazards, including island greens at hole 10, make the game very interesting on this course.
The employees in the secretariat were very friendly, as was my flight partner, who, as a member of this club for many years, gave me a lot of good tips on the round.
The food in the restaurant was very good and it was good value for money. From the restaurant you also had a very nice view of the island green from hole 18.

Class space

Friendly secretariat

Very good signs
Great condition

The first 9 are great - the second 9 are full of surprises and exciting up to hole 18 - right at the clubhouse.

Great place that you have to play.

Not completely satisfied

The first 9 lanes in order. Then chaos. Although even long-time golfers, almost 50 years, once played a wrong green.
The name per train is getting used to. Additional numbering would be recommended.
Very friendly staff, limited selection in the shop. Gastro employees. Quality in order.
I do not have to play there anymore.

Dear guest of our golf course, we are very open to constructive criticism. This helps us to further develop and improve. Unfortunately, the criticism that you are proposing is not justified in the form. All our lanes have names but also numbers on the tee-off plate and on the scorecards.
Each guest will receive a free sample of our Birdiebooks in which, in addition to the train descriptions, a map is also shown.
The next tees, except for three lanes, are all right next to the last played greens. In the case of the three lanes where this is not the case, several signposts are placed in the immediate vicinity of the last played green as a road sign.
Our goal is that all guests are satisfied to leave our facility and would like to come back. Too bad that we did not succeed in this.

Best regards

Alfred Hagn

Beautiful, hilly course, varied.

A beautiful place, with a lot of up and down. Moderate challenging, even for handicap 37 manageable with good and fun. Chic clubhouse with restaurant (not visited), friendly reception. Even in April already excellent condition of the greens.

Great parkland course

Dresden has 3 golf courses: Ullersdorf (18 holes), Possendorf (18 holes) and Herzogswalde (9 holes). We were in September to visit in Dresden and have all 3 courses played.
> CONCLUSION: Ullersdorf and Possendorf were top (fair courts, great care condition, super greens, nice and competent service). The golf course in Herzogswalde however was a disappointment.
> DETAILS: The plant in Possendorf ( "GC Elbflorenz") is a beautiful parkland course, in the alternate demanding and easier holes pleasant. The entire design around the clubhouse, with a beautiful view of the 18th green is just great. The condition of the entire system was Top. Greens, fairways and roughs had a pleasant cut length and beautiful patterns. The putting on the large and fast greens was a nice experience. Such good greens I was previously playing rarely... definitely makes you want more.
> It was a great day of golf! The green fee of 60 € for 18 holes was adequate.

Reference in Saxony

A truly inspiring round of golf on 01/08/2016. Super friendly welcome, green fee Monday decreased due course maintenance work, which, however, were almost not noticeable. Start time is no problem and only friendly player taken. Greens in immaculate condition and quickly enough despite some rains in recent days. Have seen in Saxony's no better place, concerns both what optics and maintenance state. Not for nothing Leading Golf Course. Highly recommended!

Rare good

2 June 2016 the reception in the Secretariat was extremely friendly, the asparagus dishes at the restaurant sensational. The dressing rooms clean and nice. The place in a top-kept condition incl. Fast greens. Varied partly simple but challenging fairways. It meets all the requirements of a Leading Golf-course meet. Conclusion: a pleasant golfing experience with a matching value for money.

Top place, but...

Yes, the place is wonderful. The design partly spectacular, especially the tracks in the forest. Par and Birdie but only experienced hitters will be able to play. The fairways have proper lengths. For beginners, the round can be quickly frustrating. In wind, it is particularly tricky.
Unfortunately the greens were eingesandet thick, which has the gameplay significantly reduced. Neither was on the website to indicate, nor was it mentioned in the Secretariat. But then yet to claim the full green fee borders on insolence. Sorry, but such references are now just standard. Therefore, a point deduction. Gastronomy is also great.

The much sexier Dresden court

Had the pleasure of both Dresden 18-hole courses to play several times and Poss village is clearly more beautiful place.

Place State:
The exercise machines can not make such a great impression of the state space, however, is great!

Course layout:
From the clubhouse you can see the square and Tee1 its charms not to, but this is changing already with the second shot. In the first 9 are actually still plays a large valley, so that one constantly uphill, downhill or both plays on a track, of course, usually with water in the sink. Here the fairways are quite wide and you should definitely play out a couple of shots ahead.
The highlight is the reduction of 9 (Par5), where you have to thresh over the water as much as possible on the opposite slope to reach the green in an acceptable impact rate.
The second 9 run mostly through forests and are definitely the more difficult. Just the 13, the first 300m runs through a narrow forest clearing before then a sink anpielt an elevated green - great!
The crowning glory is the island green of the 18 directly in front of the clubhouse terrace.

Gastro / Club House:
The building is spacious, new, sophisticated. Gastronomy I have not yet met.

Directions:
South of the A17,5 minutes - easy to find and less than Possendorf for all who travel from west to Dresden.

Overall conclusion:
Not for nothing the place last year was elected to the 12th-best center in Germany. The only drawback, and I agree with a previous reviewers explicitly, is the lack of numbering the sheets - please change!

Great surprise!

In Business Administration reminds me spontaneously: A really great value for money.
Convinced the court and surprised by its diversity. No train like the others. It was really fun. Negative is the driving range mentioned. The balls are a disaster (rubber balls) and the practice areas fall out of not very large. The appearance of the clubhouse and first impression of the deposit is also disappointing. By the tracks but this one will be able to forgive quickly.
Conclusion: If you have the chance, give yourselves time.

Saxony's most beautiful square

I contend times. Approx. 20 minutes from the center of Dresden, hilly with lots of trees (yes, I have the "Beer Tree" hit) and great fairways. There plenty of water and forest in the game, but the wide fairways and bounds areas are rare. Great discounts. In the tournament all ok, nice members. Unfortunately, the SMS communication does not work, but the sync with mygolf has improved. Although everything is super, I pull from one point and that for the non-existing numbering of the fairways. Instead of numbers, there are only the names of the sponsors. This is a disaster for many guests. As a result, they get lost or run Irrem with views over the extensive grounds.

Super Site

This place is really worth a visit. He is surprisingly very hilly, it plays more into the blind. For players who are not so good to walk a cart is recommended. There is a lot of water and the railways are constantly sloping to any one side. The greens were (like many places) for this winter not in good condition, but the rest was very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and the food very good in the restaurant afterwards. We can recommend this golf club with a good conscience and will surely stop by again.
