We played the north course and i must say that it is an amazing golf course.
Beautifully integrated in the natural terrain with an abundance of water all around the fairways. The quality of the turf was outstanding but the greens where not that fast. It was easy to walk, but make no mistake, it is a very long course. It plays about 6650m from the yellow tees and more than 7000 off white. So your long game should be really solid, otherwise you will collect shots in abundance… as we did. You get a good idea about whats going on on tour.
They have a relatively short south-course too, probably more suitable for beginners or higher handicaps.
After the round we had a great dinner. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. A really good value for money and i can only recommend it!

The course layout and green keeping of the Porsche North Course are top notch, and the fairways and greens in particular are of breathtaking quality. A serious sporting challenge and at the same time pure joy over all 18 holes. The south course, often underestimated as the little brother of the north course, is shorter and a bit more comfortable, but after the first two holes it is usually clear that golfing is also very challenging here. And on the 19th hole, too, it remains first class, which should definitely not be left out here. In addition, a very pleasant atmosphere on the whole complex, the committed employees and relaxed members shape a welcoming culture that makes me want to return again and again.

Positive: the greens are in perfect condition! Very fast and undulating, but the grass used allows for good allusions.
The fairways are like carpets: no molehills, no bumps, holes etc.
Negative: What use is the carpet if the fairway is so soft that you can create pitch marks with the driver from the tee and the ball does not roll 3m!
In addition, the grass is so short that it is almost like playing on sand. At least it felt like it. The square was full of autonomous lawnmowers - a real nuisance. Both acoustically and from the game play. It's no fun when you always have to be careful or hurry so that the mower doesn't come too close.
I have known the place for years and understand that the club would like to continue to host the European Tour. But the result is that now almost no par 3 is playable with your own HC, and some holes are now even longer. 15,16 and 18 have a total of 1700m from yellow. Players with a very low HC will certainly find this course interesting - but anything above HC 30 is likely to frustrate the 18 holes.
All this in total is not worth 118 EUR during the week (128 on WoE and 138 on public holidays). The charging station for electric vehicles is charged at a friendly flat rate of EUR 20.
Even the delicious currywurst with in-house sauce doesn't tear out. Price and performance, or entitlement and remuneration, are out of proportion. Here a club takes advantage of the tour bonus without performing accordingly on the pitch (there is even a lack of distance posts). Long hitters and very good players get their money's worth. The rest should move away from the space, it's not worth the cost.
An example of this is the south course, which is solid average in terms of condition, architecture and difficulty - but for which 80 EUR are called.
