We played an evening round here while passing through. We actually only wanted to play 9 holes, but because of the nice weather and the great place (especially the greens were great) we played 18 holes. Unfortunately, we couldn't test the clubhouse anymore because it was closed from 8 p.m.

The clubhouse is on a hill. The lanes run around the clubhouse and always offer beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
The layout starts in an open parkland style, on the back 9 the design changes to similar elements to the left. The front 9 run down, there are always groups of trees next to and on the fairway into play. The tea boxes are more often surrounded by small hedges. Ponds, ditches, doglegs, etc., something of everything is offered. Hole 9 is particularly memorable, a par 5 uphill, in front of the green a pond awaits as a moat. The green itself is huge, consisting of 2 plateaus, with a height difference of more than 150cm, here the shot length should be chosen well for the approach to the green.
The back 9 run mostly on the back of the clubhouse. These consist of the at that time newly built railways. Thus, the golf course offers 2 designs in one. The design is a bit more rugged and has elements typical of links, bunkers in the middle of the fairway, walls in front of elevated greens, depressions, crests, doglegs and, of course, high rough between the fairways.
The greens are very large and are currently in great condition with "carpet character".
After your round you can sit comfortably in the "Golfstüberl" at the clubhouse - with a terrace similar to a winter garden, or in the sun.
