Characteristics
The pleasant 9-hole-course belongs like the marina of the same name to a vacation and apartment resort at the shore of the Rio Cávada in Barca do Lago, 7 km away from Esposende. The course has prominently ondulised greens, wilfully placed bunkers and three lakes, which not only increase the level of difficulty, but are also creatively very felicitious.

Lovely little course

This is a really enjoyable if short 9 hole course. It is very well kept and in excellent condition. There are 5 par 3 and 4 par 4 holes but it is still tricky to play - Par 62. We played 18 holes in just under 3 hours. If you are a mid to high handicapper the course is great fun. Great value - we paid 15€ each for 18 holes and a trolley. I think this was half price because the greens had been treated the previous week. The staff are really helpful and friendly. We had a meal in the restaurant after golf - also excellent quality and good value. We would certainly visit again.
