If you compare this course with a fairly good rating to the Bonavista Golf course with the same rating, then you cant understand, why people give it a 4 or even 5.
I am a single handicap player and found this course quite boring.
The greens are quite good but all putrs are straight and boring...
Driving range is good, clubfacilities as well.

Have to say its my favourite course in Tenerife. Excellent layout and very fair (no silly holes). Always in good condition and you would struggle to realise you are in the middle of a very busy resort, it's so quiet.
We had a group of 20 with a variety of handicaps and they all complimented it.
However, the staff are not very welcoming or accommodating. I know the course is very popular and perhaps they feel they will get customers regardless of their attitude.. which is probably true. However, when you spend 1000s of euro's bringing a big party, you would expect a better service.

We have been coming to Tenerife for many years and always play a few rounds on this golf course. This year we were shocked by the poor condition of the place. The tees in particular were miserable - there was little grass, but there was a lot of sand and what little grass was quite high, and also totally wavy and bumpy. In addition, the red and yellow tees were incredibly far ahead of the actual official measurement (many yellow tees were at the official red markings.) There were a lot of dry spots on the fairways, but at the same time there were also a lot of muddy ones without grass. I played the course twice as part of a golf trip in September 2023. The holes are beautifully laid out and the course is very varied and fun. Some holes were a bit overwatered in parts, but this was probably due to the very warm season. The combination with the accommodation in the Hotel Las Madrigueras and the private golf buggy included with it rounded the whole thing off.
The pro shop is excellently equipped and the restaurant is highly recommended. All the employees were extremely nice and helpful. The price/performance ratio is excellent.
Only the tees on the driving range could have been designed more lovingly. These stand out somewhat negatively in the positive overall picture.
Overall, an absolutely solid place with a well-deserved 4 stars that can be recommended. Gladly again. In our case as early as February 2024.
