Very nice, but not too much grass

The setting and shape of this course is really fantastic and unique. First holes are in the forest, later you move out around through the dunes with wavy surface. Even strong winds from the sea do not interfere with your balls. I missed decently green fairways, grass is not available all along the holes. Bunkers are rare but you always find sand if you want to practice. 50 Euro per adult on a weekday and 45 for the cart.

Nice links course…

... but which lags behind the left-hand golf classics Le Touquet and Hardelot and also behind Wimereux in terms of golf. There are individual fantastic holes, many good ones, but also holes that seem a bit artificial. Wind is always at play (even in the forest) and, as expected, makes choosing a club difficult. Definitely recommended by Weiss for single-digit players. The par 6 (#16) was set very far forward and was actually a normal, albeit longer, par 5. The paths between the (presumably younger) holes on the second nine are sometimes quite long. The greens are beautifully laid out and sometimes very difficult. Unfortunately, the condition of the greens at the end of March was even more wintry than elsewhere. Although there must have been a lot of rain given the many “temporary water” areas on the course. Overall, a very entertaining place that definitely justifies the visit, green fee of €55 is absolutely ok.

The place is really good, but everything around it is a flop

The very undulating, hilly course leads the first 8 holes through a beautiful forest and then turns into a dune area with a touch of left-hand grass. beautiful fairways, relatively good, undulating greens. very interesting and sometimes challenging to play. Natural obstacles are rare, there are sand bunkers every now and then, somewhat randomly distributed, but with very good sand.
As far as the positive.

Unfortunately, the list of defects is not exactly short.
- There is no distance or course information in the tee box. Even the tea number was omitted. The guidance on the site is also minimal. but in the end you find your way somehow.
- the driving range mats have been completely stripped down. so no longer usable.
- the range balls are unwashed. There's a lot of clay stuck to it. 5€ per basket.
- A ranger to keep the field on its toes would be desperately needed, but it doesn't exist. Our round lasted 5h30min and the annoying thing is that in the pro shop we were informed that it was slow... well, they know the problem but don't bother to find a solution.

green fee 75€

19th hole is a bar with a small, perfectly usable menu. But the kitchen closes at 3 p.m.
...at 5.5 hours. for 18 holes: you do the math!

Without defects the place would definitely be in the lower 5* range.

A natural spectacle

... this is Belle Dune! And in fact, the unique golf course is much more than just a beautiful dune :-), by the way, it towers above the par 3 at 12 spectacularly!
The first 11 lanes lead through dense pine forest on hard sandy soil and are already worth a clear Albrecht Golf 5 stars in terms of layout and design!
From the 12th to the 16th it's full of fun in the dunes and links golf is the order of the day!
Especially the 12,13 and 14 are among the best on the Côte de Opal! The new 15 a 600m par 6 is a world class hole! As a dogleg left cut into the tall pine forest, it is a feast for the eyes! If you have a good blow from the tee, you hit the dogleg, as the teeshot goes downhill and the hard sandy soil makes additional meters possible!
A fully hit wood 3 towards the green, which also gets a lot of roll, allows the single hadicaper or lobgdriver a third shot of only approx. 150m into the green, which is defended by bunkers and a sloping sand dune to the right! Whoever manages this has an eagle putt! The 17 and 18 leads along the lake where the colorful wooden holiday homes are and catapults you into Louisiana! The kitchen in the clubhouse is very good!
All in all, Belle Dune is on par with Golf de Hardelot and Le Touquet. The Côte de Opal is a sensational golf destination that is still an insider tip here in this country! Ps .: urgently buy the Côte de Opal golf pass for € 250 per person!
Then you play 5 places (e.g. Belle Dune, Le Touquet La Mer, Hardelot Pins, Wimmereux, Dunkirk) for (only !!!) € 50 each Green fee!

It is a wonderful place

I can only agree with the previous speaker, who is in the area, shall play there. This summer I've made in the immediate vicinity Uraub and could play there 4 times.
The first holes in the woods and then into the dunes. A very well kept place. Manicured fairways, fast greens.
The place is not easy, though only seems. One player told me that there are not many bunkers, but the place defended himself. I could not agree more.

Exciting, varied and recommended

A must for every golfer in the territory is. A space in very good condition, which leaves no boredom. Mature garden frames a narrow undulating fairways, from the 10 replaced by dunes. Wonderful to play and well as some good food in the small clubhouse.
