Characteristics

This 18-hole golf course was set up on a highly diversified terrain. More than half of the holes provide an excellent view of Würzburg and the Fortress Marienberg. Other holes run through pristine nature and a population of old trees. Three ponds add further to the optical and athletic attractiveness. The clubhouse houses a conservatory and an Mediterranian restaurant.

An oasis of golfing excellence.

As part of a City Twinning Delegation we were recently entertained generously by our Franconian counterparts. The highlight of the trip had to be our day & evening at The Wurzburg Golf Club. The course presentation was first class and the clubhouse atmosphere and catering quality were similarly of very high quality. This place is a must for any keen & discerning golfer and is well worth a visit.

Beautiful Place

Friendly secretariat, wide fairways with bottlenecks. It goes uphill and downhill. Many dogles and the flags are often blind to play. Hardly any water hazards, but many green bunkers. Fast greens, well ondulated and refined. The tee off on track 4 is not easy for gentlemen with a long trench with about 130 m, especially since you do not know where to go (blind).

Pille37 is right!

You can see this club has coal!
When we were there in the clubrestaurant (the excellent) the Würzburger Lionsclub, the vehicle park in the parking lot was accordingly!
The Leading Course is well maintained and has a partly appealing green design!
Otherwise, these bushes, Kleewiesen Countrycourse in no way with places such as Falkenstein, Hannover, Burgdorf, Regensburg T & T or Schwandorf! Visually, it is extremely boring, the highly praised view is probably hardly to the 70s residential blocks or the all-dominant A3 highway bridge! But I do not mind! I am simply disappointed of the design and Klee next to the railways totally disappointed! The air intake has nothing to do with the actual golfing experience!!!
Completely average, typical South German country meadow ... !!!
The GC Oberfranken or Maria Bildhausen are much better than the Leading Course ... !!!
Pille37 has 100% right, unfortunately!!!
