This 18-hole golf course was set up on a highly diversified terrain. More than half of the holes provide an excellent view of Würzburg and the Fortress Marienberg. Other holes run through pristine nature and a population of old trees. Three ponds add further to the optical and athletic attractiveness. The clubhouse houses a conservatory and an Mediterranian restaurant.

An oasis of golfing excellence.

As part of a City Twinning Delegation we were recently entertained generously by our Franconian counterparts. The highlight of the trip had to be our day & evening at The Wurzburg Golf Club. The course presentation was first class and the clubhouse atmosphere and catering quality were similarly of very high quality. This place is a must for any keen & discerning golfer and is well worth a visit.

Leading, No Thanks...

I played this place in May 2017. Hcp 16.
Unspoiled place. Catastrophic greens. Water biotopes, in which there is no water, but only neglected scrub. Many blind courses.
I know the Leading Golf Club can buy any club, but here the title is not appropriate.
In the flight in front of me were three high-spirited ladies, who could not let me play.
Thank you, never again...

Not "Leading", this Golf Course

I (HCP 11) have played the course in September 2016 and was disappointed as I have expected from a Leading Golf Course total of more.
Place State: The fairways were extremely dry and brown, seemed not altogether maintained. Greens very fast and loyal, but burned bodies. Bunker perfect.
Course in general: I personally like not playing many blind haircuts, just the first time comes to little playfulness. Even the view of some tracks on the busy A3 and the skyscrapers of Würzburg is not a beautiful appearance. Overall, the place is rather short and not very difficult if you are reasonably straight. The toilet in the square is simply a joke and disgusting, that alone should of course not be Leading Golf Course.
Gastronomy: Great clubhouse, especially the terrace, friendly service and very good food.
