Play golf in natural surroundings

Founded by local golf enthusiasts in 1972 this golf course has developed into one of the best to be found in Germany today. It is situated in the Spessart hills at a height of about 1500 ft amongst the original trees and landscape with natural water hazards that also serve to supply the course irrigation. Golfers of any handicap will find the 18 holes a demanding challenge that provide a holiday feeling in the fresh mountain air.
At the end of an exhilarating round of golf and to complete your day there is nothing better than to find a clubhouse with a terrace looking out over the course and the surrounding countryside to the distant mountains and to be served by the friendly waiters with excellent food and drinks. One is tempted to enjoy this day to the full.

The place is peaceful

A golf course in the beautiful Spessart. The facility blends wonderfully into the landscape, no noise from cars, trains or planes.
The course is more challenging than it looks and you tend to underestimate some of the courses.
The condition of the facility at the beginning of October was good to very good.
Very friendly reception, bag tags and scorecard were already prepared due to the booking over the phone.
We received excellent and quick service in the restaurant, we liked the food and it was good value for money.

Must play in Hesse! Played several times last on 3.7.2019

Great place, great club, super cool men's troop troop and ingenious gastro. En detail: The access to the club along the 15 and the 18 promises a lot of good. The reception as always nice and friendly. Good Golf Götze Pro Shop. The place was in top condition, despite once again no rainfall. The greens were very good. To the place is generally to say that he is exciting and playful as athletic demanding. If you do not have a Local for the first time, you may wonder sometimes... In many places you have a great view into the distance. The complex itself is beautifully embedded in nature. Golfing like on vacation. Who sits on the terrace after the round can enjoy the sunset. In the west, the view goes up to the Hoherodskopf. If you do not use the Italian-inspired Gastro you will miss something. Of course, you have to have played in life!

Very nice day trip

To place all is said, it's really fun, here to do a lap. Very varied and interesting. Unfortunately, the Greens due to many bald spots did not have good quality. The women in the Secretariat were very friendly. The Gastro is great for also totally friendly service and delicious food at reasonable prices. All in all a worthwhile excursion.

Great trip!

I can only agree with the previous speakers. This meadow is well hidden, and an example of how different, much worse places with an intense marketing in the public perception land ahead. The GC Spessart is forced to hide in any way behind Beuerberg or Margarethenhof. This is sadly in the pampas. To the place is all it says. I think he's pretty demanding. What you should know beforehand. For tourism: A weekend associated with a round in Bad Orb is a super combination. Together with Hanau, Frankfurt, Braunfels and Lich is the GC Spessart for me in the top five in Hesse.

Golfing in higher spheres

This is the first impression already at the entrance to the club house and so it remains then. You start in a free rolling hills, surrounded by forests and ponds. On 2 Hole it is then already close and romantic, and continues so until 7 the view from the tee far back can slide into the free Lanschaft. The "back nine" then totally open with views in Spessart, Rhön and Taunus - up to Feldberg. The place is pofessionell maintained, the tracks are very varied and the greens are - well - OK. The club house is not particularly nice, but it is very nice and the food is absolutely sensational in this area already. By 12 clock then also calls the bell of the nearby chapel for vespers stylishly. A round of golf on this course is then eune round thing.

Beautiful place, like being on holiday!

18 variedcourses, a very neat place, and many of trains a view from Vogelsberg to the Taunus, made our round of golf one day, as we experience it only on holidays. The 19th Hole is a dream, the terrace is at the end of the game path 18, so you can experience the tension of the incoming flights and can play in a relaxed atmosphere again. The restaurant has a very good Italian cuisine, the dishes start at 5 euros, the service is friendly, polite and very attentive. The wines are served open bottle prices from 18 EUR. The driving range is located in the forest at the park, the paths are very short. Taken together: a piece of jewelry, as we did not expect it, one of the most beautiful places in Hesse.
