The place was OK, unfortunately the service was miserable. We were more than impolitely directed by an alleged board member with our mobile home from the parking lot, although we had the club secretary's promise by phone. Otherwise we would not have come at all. The greens were aerated and sanded which we were not told. After the game at 5:00 p.m. there was no gastronomy nor was there any staff where we could complain about the greens. So camper drivers avoid space, there are much nicer places and boards

It's worth leaving the autobahn at Freudenberg in Siegerland and playing this course, which is wonderfully integrated into the landscape.
Well maintained fairways and greens are just great fun. Because of the heat, we went karting, which is certainly a good alternative given the very hilly course.

We played here for the third time today and happily accept the somewhat longer journey of 85km to play on this really beautiful course. Also well maintained in mid-October, it is simply a pleasure to play these challenging 18 holes. As a VcG player, we didn't have to pay any extra charge, which unfortunately has now established itself in many other clubs. The restaurant in the clubhouse with an Italian menu rounds off the golf day perfectly. In the region of Cologne / Bonn, Bergisches Land, Siegerland / Sauerland only very few can keep up.

Played on September 4th, 2020. The quite demanding and also relatively hilly (cart recommended for not so sporty ones) with DGV Golf & Natur GOLD certified 18-hole golf course is located in the Sauerland town of Wenden and can be reached relatively quickly via the A4 from Cologne or the A45 from the Ruhr area. Basically, you play in peace and nature, only on tracks 3,17 and 18 on the federal road L512 can you see and above all hear the corresponding traffic. You can expect a mixture of parkland but also very open paths. Many of the discounts are increased and you have very nice views of the area. The 8th tee should be the highest point of the system. Interestingly, after 9 holes (Front Nine PAR 38 / Back Nine PAR 34) you are not back at the clubhouse, but in the middle of the facility behind a hall for the greenkeepers. A toilet for the players is available there. The first run is rather unspectacular, then it gets more and more varied. There are a few interesting water hazards and doglegs and a blind shot or two is required. The holes 15 (PAR3) and 16 (PAR4) are well laid out, where very precise shots on the green or on the fairway over a stream are required. The condition of care during our visit was perfect. Well-kept good and fast greens and lush fairways. The tees were also in a seldom seen good condition. The clubhouse with restaurant (not tested) makes a good impression. The lady in the small, separate secretariat was friendly. The standard green fee of € 60 on weekdays and € 70 on weekends is appropriate. However, in an incomprehensible way and not in a way that promotes golf, a surcharge of 10 €, or even 20 € on the weekend, for golfers without a hologram. There is a driving range with a ball machine for euro pieces and a practice area. Since you can only see the tee times as a guest online but not book them, we had made a corresponding reservation by phone the day before. We got one of the last free start times around noon. On the match day itself, with very slightly rainy weather, there were no players in front of or behind us at the start. We were able to play the round relaxed undisturbed. It's a shame that start times are apparently reserved by the members but not used or canceled. The members we met greeted and were friendly. It was not so nice that the staff from the restaurant on the terrace chatted loudly and / or telephoned regardless of the players who were teeing off. But that was the only small negative point and doesn't stop me from recommending a lap at GC Siegen-Olpe if you don't necessarily expect a flat meadow.
