The course is characterized by a beautiful location in East Westphalia. The reception was friendly, the staff helpful.
We were there with a group at the weekend. The greens were said to be aerated and sanded and should be back in good shape in 14 days. In fact, all of the red and green lanes had mold on them that hadn't healed yet. A green fee reduction was not offered. Therefore: only two net points.

I've played the course many times and was thrilled every time. I would like to come back, but then something in the area should improve significantly. That brings me to the "actually".
We were there a few days ago with a golf group of 20 people and wanted to play on 2 days. On site it was explained to us succinctly that only winter greens would be playable because of course maintenance and problems with the greens. That can be the case and it is certainly the right measure to maintain or improve the quality of the course.
What is not possible, however, is the fact that we were not informed before our arrival and that we were given the chance to react, if necessary, to postpone or cancel the appointment. With a reduced green fee they wanted to send us the two days on the round. One can imagine that our "joy" was very limited. Of course, 20 golfers canceled the second day, very angry.
We understand that green fees are important for all golf clubs, especially in this pandemic time we are currently going through, but this way is not possible. As I said, the place itself is very nice, but the work of the management is, in positive terms, very in need of improvement. This also applies to general communication. Emails were only answered with inquiries by phone.
