1907 a certain Mr. Wyatt, son and heir of a rich Englishman, came to the mountains above of Grandola and Uniti as a tourist. He falls in love with the landscape and settles down there with his wife. A typical English gentleman can't survive without golf and so he had a 9-hole-course arranged, which soon became the most popular meeting place for all golf enthusiasts of the region. I played this course mid of May 2011. It was in perfect condition, very hilly, so even for a trained person a buggy might be a good choice. The holes are interesting to play and provide great views on the Dolomiti and the Lake Como. Old barns and some ruins with roses in front give a special atmosphere.
The Club House is a beautiful old building, the golf libary is very interesting, the service is perfect.
This course is a "must play" in the area of Como!
