The facility of the GC Neuenhof including the hotel and restaurant is highly recommended. From the friendliness of the staff to the excellent service in the hotel, restaurant and club secretariat, everything is great. The Gut Neuenhof Golf Club is a beautiful parkland or forest course that blends very harmoniously into the hilly landscape. Nevertheless, the course is very fair to play, as you can usually find badly hit balls again. There are some very nice holes, especially the 17 with the stroke is spectacular. Unfortunately, at the time of play, the fairways were very dry and the greens were sanded and aerated, which diminished the joy of playing. The greens have some undulations, which in normal conditions would certainly have made the putting more varied.
The gastronomy was excellent, very friendly and the price-performance ratio was very good. For a leading course I would have expected more from the maintenance condition, but for € 50 green fee it is a course that you should play when you are nearby.

At the same time, I'm a member of a golf club that has a green fee agreement with Gut Neuenhof.
When paying the green fee, I presented my EDGA card and pointed out that (until now) I have received the golf cart in all golf clubs for the same price as the members.
The lady at the reception only said: "We don't have that, you can get the green fee cheap".
It felt like a punch in the pit of my stomach. It sounded like: "Green fee parasites".
You could have simply said, "We are sorry, we do not offer any double discounts"
It wasn't up to me that I got the discounted green fee. All players of both clubs get it on a mutual basis. I didn't want to take advantage of the fact that I'm the only leg amputee.

Played for the first time on 07/09/2016. The mostly flat 18-hole course (except for the holes 1,2, 17 and 18) is located in quiet and nature near the A1 motorway on the edge of the Ruhr area. It is a member of the "Leading clubs". The individual tracks / holes offer everything an ordinary golf course needs. Here also higher HC get their money due to the mostly open fairways and roughs manageable. The major challenge is well-defended, often undulating and especially very fast greens. A special highlight is the 17 (PAR 3) where it comes from elevated tee down to the valley. However, the way to 17 and then also the 18 is a small distance, which no longer appears to take some members and end the round at the clubhouse after 16 holes. The condition was to the surcharges (Strong abrasions were extremely sanded) very good, especially the greens. The season on a sunny Wednesday afternoon (no Mr. Golf) was brisk right. As a single player without starting time I've had to wait an hour until I could on the round with three members. It then came to waiting times on the lap, so I'm so done just before dark on the 18 holes. But would not some players after 9 or 16 holes stopped, this would not have been possible.
