SUPER!!

A great course... and VERY well maintained fairways and greens.
It's in a lovely setting in the Eifel hills with beautiful views trying to take your concentration from the golf.
There are some real interesting holes, especially the second nine are a great experience and it continues all the way to the 19th.
The reception and 19th hole are very friendly indeed making you feel real welcome.
I've been there just twice now but it's a course that will get me back again and again ... (less than 2 hours travel for me) I can highly recommend, it whatever your handicap is.

Quite good to combine with a few days stay, also playing at the Bitburger Land.. also very nice and well kept.. and Golfanlage Lietzenhof.. the second nine here are great. None of these courses will break the bank.

Hilly, interesting golf course

Hilly golf course in the Eifel with old trees, ponds and biotopes. Relatively wide fairways.
Interesting holes #2, crossing a game reserve or #16 (par 3), teeing off steeply downhill.
Has Milan as heraldic bird.
Ok space

Top place in the Eifel!

1-9 are relatively normal country tracks! What is special is the deer enclosure and lanes 5 & 6 that are to be played over.
But what happens after 10 gets better and better, hole by hole!
As if out of nowhere, narrow forest corridors approach you, where the top fairways wind their way through.
2-3 lanes were so good that I was reminded of Halmstadt Nord! If the course only had these 9 holes, I would have given it 5 stars! In bright sunshine, really beautiful!

One of the best places in the region.

The Parkland Course is wonderfully embedded in the landscape in the Eifel near Hillesheim. Many fairways are located in the forest and are therefore narrow, which requires careful choice of clubs. Sporty and demanding, but also noticeable for higher handicaps. Despite the heavy rain the previous week, the course was in excellent condition. Kudos to the greenkeepers. Varied fairways with great views of the Eifel landscape. An absolute recommendation. Hole 19 was also convincing.

An absolute top golf course

A fantastic maintenance condition at every point, whether tees, fairways or greens. A very fair course that will challenge players in every skill level, but beginners will also be delighted.
At hole 19, the Milan Stuben, a beautiful day of golf finds a great conclusion with good food and a freshly tapped Kölsch beer. I almost forgot the ladies in the secretariat, who knew how to please with their genuine friendliness.

Dream place with small drawbacks

The place is absolutely as described and is one of the most beautiful places in Germany. We particularly liked the mix between open and forest tracks. The condition was sensational for the season. Particularly noteworthy here are the fast greens.
Only the proximity of the road is a downer. We found the green fee of €65 to be extremely cheap for such a beautiful place.

As always: excellent

I took a beginner golfer (HCP 27) to show him a great golf course. And like always. Everything perfect.
Reception: super nice condition of the place: top.
Varied and exciting.
If I lived here, it would be my home club.
Thanks again for a nice, exciting day of golf.

But everything was right there

We played at the GC Eifel in Hillesheim on August 6th, 2021. Although we had already played there a few times, but yesterday the entire course was in very good condition, from the reception by Ms. Düx to the meal after the round in the Milanstuben... a great day of golf.
Many thanks for everything.!

Eifelgolf

Played on October 29th, 2020. As the name suggests, the 18-hole golf course is located in the Eifel near the mineral water town of Gerolstein, in the middle of nowhere. Coming from Cologne you drive the A1 to the end of the current expansion and then have to drive about 20km on federal roads to the club. The course, on the front nine (at least the lanes 1 to 7) rather open and on the back nine absolute parkland (narrower tees) with tall trees, sometimes in the middle of the fairway, is basically in peace and nature, if not there Bundesstraße would share the space and you can clearly hear the corresponding traffic on some railways. A few power lines are visible but do not come into play. The course itself is already demanding, hilly, especially on the back nine, as you can expect in the Eifel. A cart is advisable for those less ambitious, especially to the increased tee of the 16 the somewhat longer ascent is exhausting. The design is varied with doglegs, some water hazards and well-placed bunkers. At tee 2 you play carry over a deer enclosure. Lane 8 and 9 have water hazards in front of the greens. Lanes 8 and 16 (each PAR3) have increased discounts. Green 9 and tee 10 are a little off the beaten track through trees on the back of the clubhouse. However, there is a halfway house with sanitary facilities and vending machines. There is additional sanitary facilities on the green of 4 / on the tee of 7. The condition was basically good for the humid season. Some haircuts were slightly worn. You have to knock off mats on lanes 17 and 18. The greens were in great order and very fast but faithful. The clubhouse / secretariat is in a different building from the restaurant (not tested). From the parking lot you walk a few meters past the first tee and the driving range to the clubhouse. The staff member was friendly, as were most of the members I met. The green fee of 65 € is 5 to 10 € on weekdays and 90 € on weekends by 20 € in my opinion. Possibly. This is also one of the reasons why there were few players / guests on the course when I played on a cloudy Thursday morning. Thankfully and in a way that promotes golf, the club does at least not charge any surcharges for golfers without a hologram. The currently mandatory start times can be viewed by guests via "detours" on the homepage via PC-Caddy, but unfortunately they cannot book them. All in all very solid. If you are in the vicinity or go on a trip to the Eifel and like hilly terrain, a round at the GC Eifel can be recommended.

5-star golf in the Eifel

Played on 30.09.2019. Moderate to heavy space - mainly due to the length of the tracks. Nevertheless well suited for all HCP classes. Exceptional tracks with unique feature: 2,8, 9 and 16. The first 9 in open hilly landscape, the second 9 cleverly fitted in forest lanes, also hilly and very nicely laid out. Good care condition, nice and helpful staff, model hole 19.
Overall, a very varied, friendly and less frequented facility, which leaves nothing to be desired and definitely worth a visit.

Necessarily play

We (HCP 7 and 18) have played the course in transit. The reception was nice and uncomplicated. Varied tracks in excellent condition. The fairways full green, the greens top, all lovingly created and maintained. The first 9 in open terrain and long (535 m by 5), the second 9 are just demanding punches in narrow forest corridors. The place is obviously but barely frequented. We will definitely play it again when we are in the area.

Golf at the zoo

Beautiful, well-kept area. Very friendly tone among golfers. 80 € but borderline expensive for offered, still ok. Front 9 game park views and ostrich farm. Rear 9 classic park course. Overall nice mixture with sometimes stunning view of the landscape. On some tracks a little too much traffic noise. The reception could be certainly cordial

An almost perfect golfing enjoyment

Wonderful require integrated into the landscape lanes, precise playing and length. Each track has its own character, so that varied challenges: long straight paths, doglegs, water hazards, fairly placed bunkers, slopes, narrow paths in the forest... Besides ease the Secretariat and Greenkeeper that really on tees, fairways and greens do a good job and take even consideration for golfers. Everything together makes the rounds a real pleasure.
Only the some tracks next running and well-traveled road disturbs the extremely positive overall impression and prevents the 5 star narrowly.

Parkland and Eifel Allerlei

The best for last. This is certainly the case for this course. The back nine are a Highlite. Because the orbits of tall fir trees and forest are boxed. The tracks are harmonious, sophisticated and well defended greens. Here there is real Parkland feeling. The front nine are younger and to fall off significantly, because they have more character orchards. All together a really good maintenance. Super Bunker, Top fairway, good greens. The place is little frequented on weekends and is relaxed. The green fee at the WE is ambitious 80 €.

Top back9!

The 4star rating derives primarily on the quality of the varied and exciting tracks 10 - 18 from the 10 makes it really fun, the layout calls for clever game. Fashion Furnished in the forest accurate and focused game is required.
Toll the 10 class is the par 3 on the 17 and also the statements on the 18! The first 9 good start - the 1 and 2 fallen - and the 9 The greens were well maintained and true - for me personally, however, too small or schmall. In the first game, the penalty for lack of space knowledge and long shots done by lost balls in the corner. Secretariat friendly, and the DR. Exercise area well designed.
Conclusion: aufgrd. the great zweiten9 - I come again!

A dream in the Eifel

A very nice, sporty and interesting course. Maintained, nice, cozy clubhouse and friendly staff.

The place is virtually divided: 9 "newer" cars and 9 "older" tracks, which are mostly integrated into the forests. Just great. Height differences, doglegs, water... Just beautiful. Some par 4 runs and calls in addition to precision and length.

Worth the journey from Bonn or Cologne again. :)

If the weather will bear: Anytime you.
