It's still a bit early in the year for an objective assessment, but we really enjoyed the GC Göhrde in April. A classic parkland course with varied courses and some challenges for ambitious golfers too. The idea of creating 2x18 holes (blue course, white course) on the same terrain with differently positioned tees is remarkable and clever.
Length control and straight shots are essential for a good score here, unless you want to look for mushrooms in the forest. My favorite holes on the white course are the 2.8, 11,18

We, Hpc 16 and Hpc 18 have played this course and loved it. The condition of the system was great, the greens a bit slow, but with these temperatures of up to 30 degrees, they shouldn't be mowed so deep. The green fee price is OK, the staff is very friendly and the pro is competent. Be sure to stay in the bistro with a small menu and small prices. The food was great, plentiful and delicious. With two striking blemishes: the greens are mostly in poor condition, very bumpy and full of holes. And the grass on the fairways is way too high and needs mowing.
