Hidden golf club of 9 holes.

What a course in the middle of nowhere, with very friendly staff.
Greens were not so good but comprehensible with the weather and weeds.
A very old club, where Golf is written in the old Dutch way : Gholf.
Nice small club house, big bar.

Times can take

On the drive from Cape Town on the N2 towards Swellendam, you will pass the small town of Caledon. A small variation on the well constructed road can not hurt. And so we went on the 9-hole course a stopover. To correct: 9 holes currently cost 200 rand (about € 13). Overall, a simple-minded story, wide fairways, course length - even when the pair 5 manageable. Halfway well maintained but for 13 euros you can not expect a top spot. The greens mediocre with bald spots. Catering can serve drinks, more is not in it. The receptionist (secretary and operation in personal union) doing their duty. Your charm and the clubhouse is reminiscent of identical twins. After the round, the clubhouse "concourse" a drink and that's it.
