Welcome to Arklow Golf Links

Arklow Golf Club last year (2007) celebrated its 80th Anniversary. Since the very beginning, the Club has extended a warm and inviting welcome to all of its visitors from at home and from overseas. Your friends at Arklow will ensure that your visit is much more than a great round of golf. South Wicklow's beauty, the adjacent Irish Sea, reasonable rates and extraordinary service will guarantee your personal satisfaction above all else.

This traditional links was formed by Hawtree & Taylor in 1927 and has evolved with the aid of inputs from Eddie Hackett and in recent times Eddie Connaughton. The links has been described as a hidden jewel and the Southern Region of the Irish PGA held their 2001 and 2002 Championships on this links.

5.0 out of 5 stars Arklow links. August 6, 2011 By Karlito

Having played a lot of links courses around Ireland i honestly believe Arklow to be one of the toughest links courses in the Country. With the wind from the South all the par 3's play into the wind bar the 7th. With 5 par 3's and only 2 par 5's on 16 and 18 it makes for a great finish to any round.
With deep pot bunkers and challenging pin positions it makes for accurate shots into big tricky greens.

As a par 69 with a css of 72 off the blue markers i would recommend playing if you like to challenge your game.

I gone a very friendly reception upon arriving and enjoyed the day immensely.

I will certainly be returning to play again. well recommended.
