Nice looking but kind of strange!

Played this course 10 days ago, was charged 60 euros (at 5 p.m.) after asking for 9 holes fee, online the price for 18 holes is listed as 58 euros!
Ended up playing 18, till darkness.
The course was nice looking but played rather strange for me. The fairways are hard, I mean hard. Hit my teeshot as usual 200 meters ball landed and bounced on the fairway for another 60-80 meters like a bullet.
Wedge play for me was impossible, way too hard to play from, like from a path!
Greens were ok, the rough is a nightmare, lost 3 balls in it!
Never will play here again!

More expected

Based on the previous reviews, I expected more. The place is mediocre at best. Starting with the tee boxes, the layout, fairs, greens and the gastronomy. You don't need to make a special trip.

Beautiful Course

The place deserves more stars, due to the dryness our rating with 3 stars.
Despite the dedicated greenkeepers, it will take a long time to see green greens and green tees again.

Nice layout, great view of the Vosges vineyards.
The greens are huge and heavily undulated. High challenge for putting!

A place that can be fun

Gladly again

Alsace Golf inks is a suggested links course, not really comparable to Ireland and the dunes, but interesting, varied and always fair to play. There are no dunes with visual impairment, the real search for the ball in the sand, but the course is very well maintained and in great condition. The weather in summer 2021 was like a coast with sun, wind and heavy rain from the side.
The practice mats on the driving range are pretty worn out and the reception desk could be more attentive, but overall I'll definitely come by here to play again.

Tamer links place

At the beginning of October the course was in very good condition and easy to play. Should have a little more challenges. That being said, it's a real links space.

5 stars for winter golf

Golf Alsace is another course that is great to play on in winter.
Nice links course with sometimes huge, wavy greens. Maintenance status for January 1A.

Top Links Golf - Definitely play!

Typically Irish links golf course in Alsace in a beautiful location overlooking the Vosges Mountains: Varied course design, very large and challenging greens, spectacular par 3 holes. It feels like being on a true links course in Ireland or Northern Ireland! In addition there is the friendly service in the secretariat and restaurant as well as the interesting location of the clubhouse in an old mill.
Definitely play - this great place is warmly recommended to all golfers!

Early in great condition

I played the course for the first time at the end of February. For a place in Central Europe at this time of year he was in excellent condition.

A place for Linkskursliebhaber!

We played this place for the second time and we had a lot of fun at this facility, which starts at first unassuming and later has the "Wow effect". The fairways are wide, the greens are fast and in a super state. The clubhouse is simple, the atmosphere uncomplicated, almost family. We would look forward to a bigger offer on the menu.
We will be back!

Tedious

Who gives this place 5 stars, probably has not much idea of the golf. Naturwiese would be the right expression! At the course is worked, in a few years certainly more demanding.

Links Golf in France

I play the course, were frequent. the place in the winter months is the best alternative in the triangle.
The course provides a real links feel and he gets better every year and more interesting.
Who wants to play a links course outside the British Isles, is right here.
Although the clubhouse is asking only drinks and snacks, but who knows, may be prepared.
David Abercrombie has created here with its existing resources, a golf course that will satisfy every level of play.
Today I played the course in beautiful spring weather and especially enjoyed doing the excellent views into the adjacent Vosges.

In winter super!!

I played the course on February 3, namely already on summer greens. Alsace Golf Links is one of the few places around where you can play almost 12 months a year Golf. The place itself is not spectacular, but perfectly suitable for a couple rounds of training in winter. The greens were in good condition both the fairways. The gastronomy and the clubhouse is very modest. You can eat not really big thing, except sandwich and Tarte.
I would stay here again for a round in the spring.

Specifically, but interesting

All a bit different than usual. Very simply, it feels a bit improvised, but very friendly.
The place can actually stand up a links feel, is quite interesting and varied designed. But almost no information, not even a birdie-book. Obviously some will be transformed as extensive construction can be seen, but do not disturb the game. The greens were OK, overall a place where the game is fun. It may obviously dogs with the place, unusual, but not disturbing. The gastronomy in the very simple but cozy clubhouse is limited to drinks and sandwich. But are all very friendly and helpful.
Gladly again.

As a links course

I have played the course three times now and can only recommend it. The Club House is still very rudimentary, but that's the charm and keeps the prices low.

Wonderful links golf course

The Alsace Golf Course in Rouffach was designed by an Irishman: a secret tip among the places near Basel (40 minutes). Beginning in an old building complex with Bach: None of gorgeous rustic chic-i-micky. Wavy fairways, reeds, interesting water features. In the summer must be precisely just played. Balls in the deep grass are hard to find.
To a training area with 3 holes next to the driving range.
A place that will please any golfer. Challenging but also tremendously exciting. Real good golf I would stay again.
