I recently had the absolute pleasure of golfing in one of the most stunning locations imaginable—at the bottom of the Austrian Alps. From the moment we arrived, the scenery took my breath away. The warm-up on the driving range was an experience in itself, with sweeping, panoramic views of the majestic Alps. It’s hard to find a more inspiring backdrop while perfecting your swing!
Once warmed up, my colleague and I played the front 9 holes on a course that was both beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed. Each hole felt like a unique adventure, blending seamlessly into the natural beauty of the landscape. The course was challenging yet fair, with a perfect balance of lush fairways and strategically placed hazards. But honestly, it was the combination of the fresh mountain air, the quiet tranquility, and the jaw-dropping views that made this round of golf unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.
If you’re a golf enthusiast and find yourself anywhere near Villach, this place is an absolute must. It’s not just golf; it’s a retreat into nature with a side of golf. Highly recommended!

There's not much more to say: perfect maintenance, impressive surroundings, and lovely, friendly staff. The only thing that could be improved is the layout of the paths, which would save some unnecessary walking. Playing a round here on a beautiful, warm spring day and then enjoying a delicious meal in the charming restaurant – what could be better?
