Terrible 8. August 2011
This originally interesting golf course is an absolute no-go area at the moment. Complete lack of maintenance for a longer period. A recently arrived Irish head greenkeeping is trying to save things, but the course is NOT PLAYABLE for the coming months. We had booked for 2 nights and 3 rounds of golf but we left after the first unfinished round.

European Lakes is a fantastic resort to visit. Based close to Lake Balaton it is about 2 motorway driving from Budapest and close to the City of Pecs. The golf course is set in a haven of natural beauty and will offer a challange to even the most accomplished player. The restaurant is famous for it's great food and excuisite Hungarian wines. There is always a bit of craic in the Irish bar where guests can relax and enjoy a sing song . The package prices offer probably the best value in Europe for such a top class resort......... Well worth a visit.
