Characteristics
To play golf between the blue sea and snow-covered Alp peeks is not an everyday occurence. If we add to that the exceptionally sunny location, the image is even more tempting. The club is situated in a peaceful oasis, only a few kilometres away from the city centre. In the winter the climate is dry and windy, while the fresh breeze from the sea spoils the course in the summer.

Have played end Sept. staff in the office ignorant italian players in the course deliberately slow playing and arrogant. Restaurant modest but service vry friendly. The course itself good maintained. One round enough for themext ten years.

Today, Tuesday the 16/7, I drove to look for Trieste Golf Club. There was no sign anywhere but we managed to locate the club because a local kind soul offered to show us the way after he heard we were looking for the club.
When we reached the entrance to the club, the gate was closed. The local gentleman, who showed us there explained that the club is closed in Mondays n Tuesdays. That is what we think he says as we don't understand Italian n he doesn't speak English.
The club looks like it has not been maintained for years.
