Il Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links si annovera tra i principali hotel irlandesi. La struttura a quattro stelle, con il grandioso Links Course progettato da Bernhard Langer ed inaugurato nel 1995, si trova tra i pittoreschi paesi Malahide e Howth in Portmarnock e vicinissimo all’aeroporto internazionale di Dublino (30 minuti in macchina), ideale per iniziare o per concludere una vacanza all’insegna del golf in Irlanda. L’Hotel si presta ovviamente anche a brevi vacanze o a lunghi fine settimana durante i quali non avrete nemmeno bisogno di un’automobile.
La tenuta era di proprietà di un membro della famiglia Jameson, produttrice di uno dei migliori Whiskeys irlandesi che potrete assaporare nel Jameson Bar dell’Hotel. Le 138 camere e Suites si trovano nella vecchia casa oppure nella nuova ala, dove sono state sistemate anche le moderne e spaziose Golfer’s Room. Tutte le camere dispongono di accesso ad internet e si affacciano sul mare, sul campo da golf o sul giardino. L’hotel, situato direttamente sul mare, mette a disposizione dei suoi ospiti una sala fitness e la The SPA at Portmarnock. Il campione tedesco Bernhard Langer concepì su questo terreno collinoso sul mare irlandese, sul quale nel passato la famiglia Jameson possedeva un campo da golf privato, uno spettacolare Links Course. Molte buche si trovano nei pressi della spiaggia e permettono di godere di una vista meravigliosa. Il campo, lungo 6442 metri (Par 71), è stato teatro di battaglia di molti tornei internazionali per amatori e professionisti, tra cui l’Irish Ladies Open dei Ladies European Tour (LET) negli anni 2008 e 2009. La posizione e le strutture dell'hotel lo troviamo molto buono, la colazione è adeguata, il bar e il cibo erano molto buoni anche dal rapporto qualità-prezzo. Il campo da golf dell'hotel è davvero bello con il vento e green veloci. Il campo da golf in Islanda che abbiamo anche giocato, è ancora più bello e non è giusto sulle prime 9 buche come il Portmarnock Links. Qui hai da 3 lati il mare e quindi i venti che cambiano costantemente :-). Chiunque nell'area dovrebbe assolutamente giocare ad entrambi i corsi.

How do I book my trip online?
After you have received an offer, which you like, please click on the orange button "Book now". Then fill out the short questionnaire (regarding information about travellers and tee times) and send the form. After receiving your booking, we will verify the availability of the hotel. Once your stay is confirmed by the hotel (usually within one working day), you will receive our confirmation email together with an invoice for the amount due. The invoice can be paid online by credit card or by standard bank transfer. How can I pay for my trip?
The invoice can be paid online by credit card or by bank transfer. In the our email with your invoice you will find the link to the online payment system as well as the invoice in PDF format with our bank details.
By when do I have to pay for my trip and how much is the deposit?
The deposit is 20 percent and is due immediately. The balance is due four weeks prior departure.
How can I redeem my discount code?
You can enter the discount code from the Albrecht Golf Guide in the booking form. Alternatively, please send us your discount code by email to travel@albrecht.de, after the booking has been confirmed.
Can I cancel or rebook my trip?
Yes, you can cancel at any time. Up to 35 days before departure of your trip cancellation is free of charge for you, unless there are other cancellation conditions listed on your offer and invoice. We have a few hotels that do not offer free cancellation when using an early bird discount. However, more over 90 percent of our partner hotels allow free cancellation up to 35 days before arrival. After that, staggered cancellation fees apply.
