From the moment you arrive at Château des Vigiers – affectionately known as "Petit Versailles” – the very essence of its history will enchant you. From intricately carved marble fireplaces and imposing staircases to authentic period furniture and hand-woven tapestries, Château des Vigiers invites you to relax in its Salons, Drawing Room, Billiard Room and Library.

Each of the 25 individually decorated rooms in the Château reflects the taste of French finery of centuries past, while the nearby Dépendances evoke a more rural ambience.

Famed for its superb gastronomy, Bergerac and the Dordogne region produce some of the world’s finest food including Foie Gras and Truffles as well as red, white and rosé A.O.C. Bergerac wines.

Restaurant "Les Fresques” is situated in the 16th Century Château and awarded with one Michelin Star, "Les Fresques” offers a sophisticated and sumptuous dining experience, complemented by an extensive wine list. Open every evening except Sunday and Wednesday from 10th April to 19th October. Brasserie "Le Chai”, is set in the old wine making building and offers a more informal and relaxed dining experience, also serving lighter meals and snacks.

Situated on the ground floor of the former winery, right in the heart of the Château, the Spa welcomes you into its haven of relaxation. The hotel’s beauticians offer a range of professional beauty treatments.

As a guest of the Château or the Dependances, you will have courtesy access to the Spa including the treatment rooms, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room (Hammam), fitness room and pool. The beauty treatments range from salt scrubs, massage, wraps and re-mineralising face and body masks to revitalising foot- and hand-care.

For Château and Dependances guests wishing to maintain their fitness during their stay, it offers a cardio-fitness room with bikes, a stepper, weight bench, running and rowing machines. A heated, outdoor swimming pool is available from May 15 to late autumn. It is located next to the old winery building adjacent to Spa des Vigiers and is set in a lovely, secluded garden with views over the parkland.
