Wonderful golf experience

We played black 1-9 and blue 1-9 (championship). I would recommend this combination (on the 27-hole course). So you first play along the coast and on the second nine you go out into the peninsula. Nefyn is a coastal course and not a left course. The few patches of grass on the left are rarely in the area where they have an influence on the game.
The course is very undulating and hilly and has excellent fairways and greens, the latter often well undulating (moderately difficult), as well as many deep bunkers with acceptable sand. the place labeling should be better. we kept looking for the right path.
We had a brutally windy day, so some of the balls ended up *bending*. It was estimated that the space allowed for some variation.

I played yellow and red on 8/20/22 because the Old Course had to be repaired due to storm damage. Even so, the course is a must-play in North Wales. Fantastic views of the sea (especially if it's yellow), although everyone has to decide for themselves how close to the cliffs a ball is still "playable". Coupled with some rain and wind, this course offers everything that makes a good links course. But while some links courses are almost like a gamble (blind tees without recognizable fairways with meter-high dune grass), Nefyn is also fair for players with a higher HCP. Recognizable drive landing zones and well manicured fairways. Overall pure gaming pleasure. Even if the club building looks a little plain from the outside, the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are very friendly. PS: the prices shown above are only valid out of season. But the summer prices are also extremely reasonable.
