A typical "local village" links course. Rural rustic - partly rough, unfortunately also from the care state ago.
There are always nice views of the sea offered - inland it looks rather unspectacular.
The course of the track is sometimes difficult to even unrecognizable - at the 18 there is a risk of accidentally attacking the parking lot instead of the green. In addition, the tracks are quite close together - sometimes that does not seem quite safe.
Even the tracks themselves are quite narrow - who does not scatter too much is clearly in the advantage. However, there is a realistic chance for the "spreaders" to find balls again - the rough is for the most part not too bad'.
Water hazards are in vain (left-typical), but lurk here and there, the equally nasty little, but tiiieeefen pot bunkers.
A cart is not really needed because of the short distances, although the place is tough and a bit hilly.
Conclusion: a rustic-friendly local links course - "take away", if you are in the vicinity. Almost 3 stars. (In the "Golf Bear Ranking": 5 out of 10 points.)

From the beginning, this feeling is there - narrow landing areas, many bunkers, fast and strongly ondulated greens. If you use the driver, you should leave it in the bag. A wood 3 or a hybrid is sufficient for a good score.
The place is not flat. A constant up and down in the hilly terrain makes the round to a sporting event. The place is partly very tight, nothing for the weak nerves!

In June 2017 on the way back to Dublin an intermediate stop. Very nice members, nice bar.
The place is good playable and was in good condition. The layout suffers some lack of space, some tracks are very close together - this is not without danger.

Some beautiful views of the sea, here and there a few blind shots - most balls you can still find.
You can definitely play if you are close by.
My rating might have been slightly better if I had not previously played Royal Portrush and Ballyliffin...
