Worth a trip
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 15, 2019
Tucked away in the jungle, a good hour's drive from Hua Hin, lies this golfer's jewel. We played the Mountain and Valley course (Lake course was closed). Cart is definitely here, the mountain course has it all. Beautifully laid out, sometimes long tracks with a varied layout, bunkers in the right places (and if there was no bunker in the way, then a tree) and greens in all variations in size, ondulat and speed. The Valley course is a bit more relaxed, because it's more open and flat, but no less challenging. The round is not expensive, the cart (for 2 people, caddies backstage) costs 500 baht. Our caddies were in a good mood, we had a lot of fun. Since there was a lot going on this day (contrary to our expectation) we started the Mountain Course at the 5 (thanks to our caddies) (hole 4 was our 9) and that definitely gave us a more relaxed lap.
The clubhouse is rather rustic and does not necessarily invite you to linger, the Proshop is rudimentary equipped. So only 3 out of 5. All in all you should have played this place, it's worth the trip.
