Last played here 15 years ago when there was no hotel. The course has matured very well and the greens are excellent. Still think the 6th hole is disappointing but otherwise a fair test. Easily walkable. One of he best around.

Very long course. It goes up and down and is slanted. Sometimes the fairways are not visible, you don't know exactly where you are playing. We stayed here for a week and played on 6 consecutive days. The course is quite hilly, beautifully embedded in the landscape and has great views. Nevertheless, he can be run well with a bit of fitness. Very disturbing for us was the daily and constant engine noise from the Mugello circuit. The place is treated rather loveless by the operator. On some attacks there was no grass, the PIN position was changed only once and the bunkers only once. That's why they were tough and unplayable. The range balls were broken and dirty, that you could not recognize their original color. The cart and trolley tracks are in terrible condition. In the hotel lived mainly racers and golfers. The changing fleet in the parking lot was therefore very interesting. The pool and the pool chairs were unfortunately despite nice weather from 1.10. blocked. The place is really very nicely in the hilly Tuscan countryside. Since the course is very hilly, one often has a great view over the landscape and the surrounding meadows and other growing areas. It has only bothered me a little that you have here and there a "blind" blow, but I think that is inevitable in hilly places. Otherwise a very nice and interesting course, a great hotel. Definitely 4 stars. Large room, large bathroom (we have for € 15, - per day to upgrade to a junior suite booked) and good breakfast.
The place is actually only about 25km from Florence. So you can after your round of golf make wonderful still a city tour to Florence. And Florence is really a terrific city. I recommend a visit really!
