Golf is so far away from here

Good design of course, All the rest is terrible. I played 18 holes in october and the greens (and fairways) were poor. The club is very expensive, but the SPA is the only beautiful thing. Go to La Rocca, Salsomaggiore e San Valentino!

I didn't like it. Green aren't fast and rough is bad mantained. I paid a lot but the service was not good. Terrible restaurant and restrooms. Stay Away!

My wife and me played in august 2010. Course under the average, Terrible restrooms, Staff unkindle. Greens werw bad and the membres are not happy to have foreigner members!!

I got to play this course heading into the 2023 Ryder Cup.
Based on the reviews regarding wild boar damage, I was a little skeptical.
However, I was taught better.
Incredibly warm secretariat. The charming old clubhouse.
Very good greens. Excitingly designed fairways, in very good condition for this time of year. Not such a boring parking lot.
The members are also unusual and what sets this place apart for me. I would. Since I was traveling alone, I wasn't asked to play through a flight of three, but rather to play along.!!
There is still some wild boar damage in front of the greens, but this does not detract from the good overall impression.
The small bistro was also excellent.
All around a great day of golf. You definitely have to play in this area.

Visited Matilde in March 2023 with the motorhome. Despite the drought nice well-kept place. When we asked whether overnight stays with the camper would be possible, this was clearly answered in the affirmative.

Absolutely agree with the last reviews! Very good care, really good design in a beautiful park landscape! We played with Golfhäftet (-50%) for €25 incl. 18-hole car! We found that for this good place almost too cheap!
GC Modena, GC Ducato Parma & GC Matilde di Canossa are the 3 best places in Emilia Romagna for me!

We both HCP 10 played the course on October 7th, 2020. The lanes are embedded in a variety of ways in the slightly hilly terrain. Signage and route descriptions are perfect. We played the golf course Matilde di Canossa last weekend (17th and 18.1.2015) for the first time and were more than pleasantly surprised. Despite the rain the day before the place was well playable and the greens were even in excellent condition. The course is challenging, it is possible with precise strokes but get good results.
