Characteristics
The Curia Golf Club offers 9 holes for players of all handicaps and is situated about 20 minutes away from Coimbra and Aveiro at Portugal's west coast. Natural water hazards as well as 3 artificial lakes make the playing of the par 3 and par 5 holes more difficult. The course is flat with softly wavey fairways and several fairly placed bunkers. The greens are mostly guarded by bunkers at the sides.

Closed on Mondays but open the rest of the time. The golf coarse gets better each year and the putting greens this year 2014 are very good, Can get quite busy so you can have a lot of waiting before you can play a hole. Very limited on golf balls so bring your own ample supply. The 19th is very good and the staff are very helpful to you.

I found a lovely, small but varied and technical field. The hole two with a narrow street. Q Three think uphill and four cueesta below. Then back up the field on a par four elegant green high past a river. Then there are a couple three well protected by water and bunkers q is lovely to play. And a 7th hole I think with very technical dogleg. But the best nine hole, quite classic and an arrival elegant clubhouse. Quite nice scenery and very grateful cordialq treatment for a passing traveler.
