A challenge and a pleasure

This is my 3rd year coming back to Anoreta. As a 6 hcp. in Canada, the fairways and greens are very similar and the course has a very demanding layout. Playing from the back tees, my scores are in the 85 to 88 range. No. 17 has to be played full length to appreciate its difficulty. Precision approaches are a must as the greens are small but receptive. A big plus is that carts (vehicles) are allowed in most fairways making play much more enjoyable than elsewhere. At 66 years of age, hiking back and forth with several clubs, like at some other courses, makes for a tiring day of golf. Highly recommended and the clubhouse and staff are charming and efficient.

An Enjoyable and Challenging course

We really enjoyed playing this course. It was not cheap but worth every Euro. A huge variety between each hole and most were quite challenging and certainly interesting. Some of the greens are quite small but consistent and well paced. The only negative was the bunkers which were filled with dirt not sand. The Pro shop staff were really friendly and helpful. Overall this is the best course we have played so far in Spain.

Played with Albrecht voucher book without any problems

Since we lived in Malaga city anyway, I looked through the Albrecht. In D-Albrecht there are 50% vouchers for Anjoreta, which were accepted without any problems at a price of €39/18 holes. The clubhouse and restaurant have been completely renovated and now look very good compared to what I remember. The much-cited drought was clearly visible. Some ponds were empty, the fairway was still yellow green, the greens were somehow green and boggy? and concrete fast. The course is hilly and varied. Sometimes you tee off near the "Autobahn". Then it's louder.
A good drive was once acknowledged with honking and waving so close you were. played 2 times. The 1 time with a cart but with a carrying bag made it more fun for us. Didn't eat in the restaurant. 1 x too late and the 2nd time was a flamenco party. What we thought was cool is the golf bar 300m up the road overlooking Green 10? located. Right next to the driving range. Lounge style with Cafe del Mar DJ and distant views under trees.

Urgent refresher is needed

Añoreta is celebrating its 30th anniversary - but with a place that has lost its morbid charm. It is now very bumpy, it is being renovated here and there on the course, the greens are "transplanted" new lawn, it is really getting on in years. We have played Añoreta a lot in all seasons in recent years - today it was el ultimo vez. Unfortunately, more has been invested in the renovation of the clubhouse!
Baviera has developed great with the new owner!

Unbelievable, maybe the neighbors have more to say

Even the separate encoding does something to Elena Acha Fanjul;
I try again to write it together:

Look at the similarities with this video: a few meters from where I practiced...

Well,

Lanes and greens often brown, fairways partly cruel but obviously eird done a lot. Overall, worth playing. Would recommend Cart due to the sometimes very long ways.

In a residential area wonderfully integrated

Beautiful varied holes, the first hole is right at the restaurant and then goes over the bridge and official sidewalks on roads along to the second hole. Sure it is loud but we are almost in Malaga city. Wonderfully hilly and varied the course. It is easy to do without cart but the disadvantage is that even worse golfers with cart you can then stand in the neck.
Somehow there is little etiquette in Spain Golf? Golf is a sport like football. Although I like football but it was somehow unpleasant hectic on the court.
Reception: My Spanish was almost as good as the English of the cast. Customer orientation was a source of inhibition. They punished me with a bad look because of my questions, said I should wait and talk rather 10 minutes with locals Then I paid contrary to what here is 40 € instead of 30 for 9 holes. Then the power went out. Funny

Entertaining

Anoreta is a beautifully landscaped and entertaining golf course.
Who him. first times playing should definitely hire a buggy. Between the tracks there to walk considerable distances. In addition, it has several tracks with "blind" landing zones.
Since it was worthwhile advance to drive the situation abzuchecken.
Right price performance. If you play the number two times in three days, you can save an additional 10 €. Fairways good, the Greens, however rather slow and vary in quality.
The clubhouse is nice and well maintained. The Staff is very friendly.
Highlight: Freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast

Place interesting player quaintly

The place was in a good condition with lush fairways and manicured greens mostly. Also the design is able to please with some interesting holes to play. The cited gasoline carts were largely replaced by good electric carts. The staff in the clubhouse and on the course was very friendly. Actually absolutely worth a visit. Attention booking of the players that are active on the very reasonable Course. Jeans, baggy look and other optical atrocities must be taken into account. And also in terms of etiquette there still plenty of potential. The Flight before us played his example Vorflight permanently in the heel -. Provided the balls at all remained on their own fairway. And some bargain hunters crept ächtzend the trolley over the place, so that large delays resulted. One can place the well to walk, but should it already bring some physical fitness. In case of doubt the first time, therefore, more likely to take the cart.

Anspruschsvoller course, recommended Cart

I have played the course now safely 15 times & I always come back happy. The Holes are interesssant & varied, but not easy to play. No course for beginners. The greens are good and fast. The fairways could use a little more care tolerated - but are OK. Staff is very friendly and flexible!

Interesting, but different

I played the square end of March 13 Certainly there are nicer places (especially west of Malaga), but all are more expensive... The holes are created very exciting especially on the front nine. Sporty, as hilly, but not unfair. Some holes must be played blind, rather long holes with many obstacles. Some web is narrow. The fairways rather Scottish, that the ball rolls sometimes, but there are few hard and divots. Greens very fast, fair and interesting, albeit rather small. E-buggy is fully ok, saw no gasoline. Since we have also lived in the same Añoreta-apartments, (360 euros / pers. / Week including 2 GF Añoreta/2GF Baviera) we also received special prizes for Twighlight and other GF's. As I said, there are nicer places but these cost much more.

Hilly and sometimes challenging

We played the course in December 2012, in glorious weather, green fee for 2 people including buggy was 84 euros and thus was very fair. The first 12 holes are hilly and many a blow must be targeted into the blue. The site is located just off the A7, which you can hear on the first and last holes and looks. For beginners, I would not recommend the place - as long partially overcome obstacles and dodging demands a high degree of precision. Unfortunately, in our time, the fairways are not in good condition, many posting their dry, good grass scarce. Unfortunately the golf buggies have no electric motor, thus one has the feeling of being constantly on the go with a lawnmower, not to mention the odor completely. The restaurant had closed for the holiday (31.12.) From 14 clock, so I can not rate that. We would rather not play the course again, since it improving ways in the area around Malaga, but then are also more expensive places. Otherwise: All nice game!
