Beautiful, but not breathtaking

As already mentioned, the first nine holes are surrounded by a noisy construction site; As “compensation” there is the airport departure path on the second nine. That’s why “only” 4 stars. The whole course is well maintained, interesting to play, but not spectacular. A beautiful parkland course with sea views.

A review is always a snapshot. Now the golf park presents itself as a huge construction site. However, there is no sign of this on the pitch anymore. The holes designed by Greg Norman are quite challenging, especially from the back tees. But beautifully laid out with island greens and fairways along the sea. The club restaurant exudes a backyard atmosphere - but is to be rebuilt directly by the sea. What will remain is the aircraft noise. When the planes thunder overhead, there are interesting images but an unwanted distraction for the golfer.

I liked the course: lots of holes along the sea, very good service with a cart, balls for the range and enough water for the round, as well as a good rental set.
